Best dining experience in a long time. – My boyfriend and I are frequent travelers and eat out A LOT.

So having said that when I say the food at Oceanaire was some of the best food I have ever had, believe it!

Our server Diane was one of those servers that actually LOVES her job and definitely deserved her tip.

The best part is the decor. It is themed after a 1920's/1930's cruise liner. It was perfect in every way.

When in Atlanta, Oceanaire is a MUST.

Left nothing to be desired, except the hole in my wallet =) – i'm a brooklyn born boy, and this place would be at home in the great NYC. Great raw bar, very fresh seafood. Excellent service. Even the valet was good. Go here.

Excellent! – Excellent high end restaurant. The food is fantastic - love the grits! The service was impeccable. The adult beverages were, well, strong. Good for some, not for us ladies, we like our sweet and easy. Highly recommend it for a night out with the beau.

PRICEY – We thought the food was decent, but super expensive. The waitstaff was great and the place itself was nice, but the food was not worth the price. My boyfriend said that I was a better cook.

Not the best food OR service! – My fiancee and I have dined at many of Atlanta's fine restaurants and we decided to come here for a special anniversary. We were seated in a small booth along the main pathway just beyond the host's stand. The foot traffic was very annoying. Small complimentary appetizers of pickled herring and veggies served with a small cup of butternut squash puree were good. These were soon overshadowed by slow service and dirty dinnerware (spoon and wine glass). At this price point, having dirty dishes on the table is ridiculous. Unfortunately the evening went downhill fast from there; we were served the wrong crab appetizer, the simply grilled salmon was horribly overcooked, and the macadamia crusted snapper was lacking in flavor. Our server also forgot to come back and top off my wine after he poured only half a glass from the remains of an open bottle. Sadly, the least expensive item we ordered, the salt and vinegar French fries, was one of the best tasting items. To top it all off, their jazz soundtrack was too loud and sounded like it repeated about twenty times. We were given a small box of chocolates after declining dessert (why waste the money?!), but this gesture didn't make up for the disappointment. I recommend Ray's on the River for much better food and service. This place costs too much to give it another try.

extremely fresh seafood, great atmosphere, excellent customer service – I loved my Oceanaire experience! I just was at Oceanaire this past weekend , there were three copules altogether, our husband's surprised us by taking us there. From start to finish the service was top notch and everyone was very helpful. We made reservations which is best if you don't want to spend a long time waiting. I love seafood and this place really impressed me with the variety and freshness of the menu. The menu changes everyday because new fish is flown in. Our waitress Nina was awesome, funny, knowledgeable, and prompt. The waiters made sure our glasses were always refilled and the table was clean. This restaurant can be pricey, especially if you order drinks but well worth the money. Look to sepnd about $50 per person(including appetizer) maybe $70 with drinks. The variety of the menu as well as the descriptions make you want to come back and try something new. I had the crab cakes , my husband had the scallops and the other copules had mahi mahi, stuffed cod, and salmon. We were all extremely happy with our meals and spent a lot time sampling each other dishes. Very nice place for special Occations , or just because i want to go some place nice. Thanks Tory for taking the pictures for us ! Can't wait to go again.

Excellent Sea Food & Good Service – I had the opportunity to have dinner at the Oceanaire Seafood Room, with a friend yesterday evening. It was one of the most pleasant experiences I?ve had in a while eating out in Atlanta. The service was excellent, all the way from the valet parking to the person who served our table Robert, The food was simply delicious, and the atmosphere was tranquil and friendly, it was a perfect place to be to get the weekend started. We had the Chesapeake Bay Style Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and Cornmeal Fried Calamari for appetizers and they were the best we tasted in the city thus far. The food was seasoned to perfection and easy on the taste buds. I like to say hats off and thumbs up to the staff for making our experience feel like it was worth the while and the money spent.

disappointment – This restaurant is very expensive but disappointing in quality of food and service. We were seated at the worst table in a completely empty restaurant, the waitress kept suggesting fish which turned out to be from yesterday and they only had 2 pieces left and were desperate to sell them before they go completely bad. In addition all three of us ended up with major stomach problem and had to run to the toilet numerous times the night after visiting this fabulous place. My college had reservations to celebrate her birthday there, needless to say she cancelled them after she heard our story.

Very disappointing. Will not return. – After reading all the rave reviews on this place, I was excited to visit Oceanaire for some excellent service and outstanding seafood. To say the least, I was disappointed. Service was average. Yes, our water glasses were kept full. Other than that, our waitress was difficult to find, and the wait time for our dishes was absurd. Once our dinner finally arrived, the salmon was charred and too salty to eat. The "blackened salmon" will forever be known as "inedible salmon" to me. Our replacement dishes were lackluster, and our waitress offered no credit to our bill as a consolation (75% of our table sent their dish back). This was a waste of time and money. I will not return.

Seafood – Wonderful seafood!

Best jumbo lump crab cakes in Atlanta, hands-down!!

And I'm not even really a seafood fan--that's just how good The Oceannaire is.
