Best Ambience on the South Shore! – My husband and I were celebrating his birthday along with our first anniversary. I did make reservations and had explained our little celebration. Once we entered, we were greeted with a warm welcome and was seated right away. Our waitress was just as welcoming and full of suggestions. We received a small basket of warm fresh bread and corn bread with a creamy butter spread. Enjoyed the Prince Edward Island Mussels as our appetizer. My husband ordered the Rib Eye and I got the Filet Mignon with lobster tails. The beef was like cutting butter that just melted in our mouths and the lobster tails was steamed to perfection laying in a puddle of butter. We ended the dining with the homemade pecan pie. As a gift, they did not charge us for our dessert. How nice is that??? Our overall dining experience...LOVE IT!!! It beats going all the way into Boston to have fine dining and you don't have pay for parking.
HORRIBLE customer service – I am experiencing a NIGHTMARE with this restaurant. I had lunch there with 3 other woman (4 total), they paid in cash, I used debit. The waitress charged my card the entire bill (supposed to be $38 she charged $127) even though I signed for only my portion. I've been on the phone with these people for WEEKS trying to get reimbursed. At first, they tried to tell me that when you split the bill between cash and debit they charge the debit the entire amount until it clears - this explanation doesn't even make sense. So you're waiting for the cash to clear? After two weeks I still have the full charge on my card. They have been inefficient, unprofessional, and I may have to contact lawyers to get my money back. DONT GO THERE!
Editorial Review – Housed in a handsomely renovated Hingham structure that dates back to 1766, this casual upscale steakhouse serves regional comfort fare.
