Katina is amazing! she's quick and efficient! i definitely recommend her for anyone and everyone! she makes you feel so comfortable talks you through the entire process even makes you laugh during the hard times, we have gotten such a good bond and couldn't imagine anyone else waxing me. give her a try and promise you'll never regret it.
First time bikini wax. This was my first bikini wax, and I was nervous - Pia put me at ease right away with her friendly conversation and professional service. I will definitely be back, and can't wait to try her other services, like the spray tanning! Very positive experience!
best waxing place ever!!. I go to The Waxing Bar often and have been many other places and they are by far the best at what they do the employees are the realest most down to earth people! Pia sure knows how to run a place!! It is a professional yet fun filled environment. If people dont understand the humor and up beat attitudes of the place then they should take their business elsewhere.. but no where is as good as THE WAXiNG BAR!!
UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL, RUDE, DRAMA SEEKING STAFF.
I was a long time, loyal customer of the Waxing Bar, however, I will NEVER return to the Waxing Bar for any service after seeing such a lack of professionalism displayed online today. They are bashing a former employee that they once publicly supported when she decided to move on and pursue her own business and now they are making ridiculous accusations against her.
Waxing is a very personal experience, I want to know that my salon of choice will behave in a professional manner and not gossip and spread lies about anyone. If they are trashing and spreading lies about a former employee they then what are they saying about clients?
The salon will be featured on a reality show so it seems like they are doing everything they can to stir up drama for the show as they are telling people what to bring up on camera about this person. Absolutely unacceptable and I will not support a business or anyone who behaves with such unprofessionalism and disrespect!

Pleasant Experience. After reading several reviews I decided on the Waxing Bar. I had never had a professional wax done before. I called the salon and the woman who answered was very friendly and helpful. She told me how to prep and what I should expect as far as pain and discomfort. Pia was who I selected for my brazilian wax. She was very friendly and made me feel more relaxed. I was expecting a lot of pain but it really wasn't that bad. There were definitely a few uncomfortable spots but overall it went great. She chatted the whole time she was waxing me so the time flew right by. She answered the few questions I had and explained what she was doing as she went along. I was impressed that the appointment ran on time. The only thing that was a little frustrating, which is most likely no fault of the waxing bar, was that I ended up with a few ingrown hairs. They were a little painful but easily remedied. I was a little tender for about a day but overall it was a good experience. I would definitely recommend The Waxing Bar to anyone looking for a professional wax.
magic wax!!!. i have been coming to this salon for months now! any of you who write bad reviews are sadly mistaken to which salon you must have visited. Katina is my waxer, she is fast, efficient, and hilarious!!! and complaining about pricing?? the owner has a facebook special everyday even for the new clients! How awesome is that? Katina is a doll, you'd be crazy not to give her a try. For all those out there reading these reviews ( as i was once one of them) debating if you should try out waxing definitely give her a call and tell them KIMBERLY sent you!!!! i promise you'll love your wax!!!
Don't waste your time or money!!!. The experience was awful! The technician was in an obvious rush to leave when her boyfriend arrived, and completed a simple bikini wax on me that was wicked! I had uneven hairs, wax stuck on my skin, and I am almost positive the wax is REUSED between customers. For $50, I could have found a reputable salon that is managed by professionals and is clean! This place is the worst..... Don't make the same mistake I did, go elsewhere!
Hysterical!!! Reused wax would have hairs in it! You have not ever been to us, as you would know the prices are $35 for a bikini wax. We all have cars too dooooom asssss so was it our limo driver we were waiting on? Just so you know, we're closed on Sunday so we don't know where you got waxxxed. Funny lady...... Thank You for giving us something to make fun of for the day!
Best Estheticians/Atmosphere in Houston!!. Brittney Lewis does an amazing job!!! I was extremely hesitant to get a Brazillian wax, but Brittney made my experience awesome! The pain was minimal and she was done before I knew it. Ive continued getting waxed because these ladies are all awesome at The waxing Bar. DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! These ladies know what they are doing. 5 stars for sure!
Best experiences!. Okay so being that I am a guy I was a bit nervous about getting a Brazilian wax for the first time. A friend of mines recommended me to Brittney.So i called and made an appointment and she got me in right away. I'm not going to go into to much detail but... I am hooked! To me waxing is so much better then trimming. You should make your appointment with Britney today for waxing she is great at making you comfortable and relaxed. Best first time Brazilian wax! And i love the results!
