Terrible – I went to Spa Belles to get a mani, pedi, and waxing 3 days before my wedding. My face completely broke out from the waxing job (and I still had to pluck before my wedding) and my pedicure was barely satisfactory. The worst part was that I spent $126 to get a french manicure LCN so that I wouldn't have to worry about my nails before the wedding. By the next day, the gel was already lifting from my nails. On the morning of my wedding, one of the nails completely broke off (in its entirety) and I had to run out to a nail salon in the area where I was getting married and had to spend an additional $50 to get them fixed. Then on the morning after my wedding, the rest of them fell off (they looked like Lee press-on nails!) I contacted Spa Belles and asked them to credit me the $50 I had to spend to get them fixed, which I thought was a generous request considering that LCNs are supposed to last for 6 weeks (according to the owner of Spa Belles). They refused to credit the money and instead asked why I didn't return to the salon to get them fixed and insisted that I get a pedicure! What?!! I argued with the owner and asked her why I would want to get another service from them and how getting a pedicure compensates for the fact that I spent $176 for nails that fell off on my wedding day. The owner continued to insist that I accept the pedicure offer and I continued to reject it. I went back to the store two days after my wedding with all the gel nails and pleaded with the owner to try to understand why I would be so upset about the situation - after all, my nail fell off on the day of my wedding! She finally refunded me $30, which apparently is the cost of a regular pedicure. She also begged me to give them another chance and swore that they are very skilled technicians. I think the damaged pores on my face, my chipped pedicure, and the bag of nails proves that they are in fact anything but skilled.

Cut my foot and still tried to charge me! – During my pedicure, a sharp implement was stuck into my foot, causing bleesing. And they still tried to charge me $31 !

Filthy environment and shoddy work. Plus, they will nickel and dime you to death. – Had a horrible, unpleasant experience here. They charge way too much like they are a nice salon but they are a really low rent chain. The Soho location is filthy. Gross. There are way better options in the city.

I went to Spa Belles on Spring street for a simple pedicure and eyebrow wax and I left never wanting to return. I have been going to the one on 18th street for years so I figured a change in location this once would be the same great service, just different location, right? WRONG! The woman who did my brows put the wax on too hot and when she got finished picking at my face(and hardly removing any hair she missed with wax) I was a red, burning wreck. I asked for someone else to clean up my face and the manager came in saying that I should have them threaded instead. I made it more than clear that I was not satisfied with the waxing and the manager was extremely unaccomodating and told me that I had to pay because she waxed me. She even raised her voice to me! The pedicure was fine until she put on the polish. It was a dark color and she did not do a good job painting. On my way out I heard someone else complaining that their polish job was awful. I was so disgusted I went home and fixed it myself. Needless to say I will be sticking with the 18th street Spa Belles because the one on Spring was disappointing. So sad.

My Favorite Spa Belle Spring Street...Don't Get Them Confused With Any Other – Spring Street Spa Belles is so often confused with the other Spa Belles, let me tell you this place is "the best!" ...I love it! ---They aim to please, I've never been let down, and Sophie and the rest of them are so nice when I come in. I have to speak up for them, because they have never been anything else but wonderful, pleasant, and highly skilled. I most certainly recommend Spring Street Spa Belle for any awards or honors. In their line of work; I know it's not easy. They just make it look that way. Thanks to the professionals at Spring Street Spa Belle I always look great, feel great, and am refreshed. Don't change!

Pedicure was MEDIOCRE at best – I made an appointment for a pedicure at a friend's suggestion as I wanted to go on my lunch break. I normally don't get my nails done in this neighborhood while at work, but figured, why not?

When I got there, no one was at the front desk and most of the employees there appeared to be too busy with whatever they were doing to pay any attention to the fact that someone had walked in; and, the two men employees both appeared to be taking a nap. I'm not kidding. Finally, one woke up and I told him I'd made an appointment for a pedicure at which point he instructed me to pick a color. On my way to the polishes a woman shot out from the back in a big huff and barked "What do you want?!" I explained I had an appointment for a pedicure and she barked at me to pick a color (which is what I was trying to do). She then sat me down in there awkwardly placed chairs and kept trying to push extra treatments on me, which you come to expect from these types of places. But when I politely declined by saying "No, not today, but thank you" she began to rush me through my pedicure while asking every other minute if i was here for just a regular pedicure. My toenails came out uneven and literally a few hours after I left, part of the polish had already chipped off. It was a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME! I would recommend going almost ANYWHERE ELSE for a pedicure than going to this place. It cost me $28.50 and was worth maybe a quarter of that... and that's a big maybe. NEVER AGAIN! NEVER!!

Best facials! – Fairly standard for mani/pedi, but AMAZING facials! I have had facials at higher-end spas such as Bliss, but the facials here are unbelievable. Last visit, my 60-minute facial turned into a 90-minute facial because I was the last customer of the night and they had extra time. I highly recommend for the facials, especially at the price that is lower than most other spas in the Soho area.

They practically give you new feet – The pedicures here are amazing! I just went back and it reminded me that my last few pedicures at other spas were a waste of money. I will happily travel from Brooklyn to Soho for their great work. You not only have a beautiful polish but your feet will almost feel brand new, the major difference from the other places. Amy is especially great!
