Who are these people calling this restaurant th best. The owner, Indian lady from Fiji, advertised with the sign "Comming soon, Naan, Samosa". I stopped by tthere only to find out that naan and samosa were available on certain days. I only stopped by to gte those twot hings and she was telling me how good her food was even comparing to a restaurent like "Kaveri". Good grief! Out of courtesy, I bought some lassi and i got stomach ache. Can you believe that?
his really tops the charts. I'd been to other Indian restaurants in the area but this really tops the charts. The guy who was working there was very kind and friendly. I love how they give out reusable containers and how service is very fast. I sampled the aloo gobhi, chicken tikka masala, I never had anything like that but it was good
Great for Vegetarians. I have two daughters and we all love indian food. Mati's is a very good little resaurant here in Natomas and we are regular customers. There are several vegetarian options as well as chicken and lamb. The garlic naan is great and the prices are reasonable. One of my daughters (a vegetarian) attends college in the Bay Area and she always asks me to bring her "some Mati's" when I visit her. The employees are always friendly and the service is very fast.

All these five stars reviews are ridiculous. Obviously from the family of the owner. I am a Natomas Resident and I was eagerly waiting for the restaurant to open because it had a sign saying "Naan", "Samosa", etc. Then, when it finally opened, I went there and found out that those were not available everyday. also, it is a tiny restaurant with pre-cooked food in buffet sty;e tray out of which she serves you. The quality is below average. And what else. I ate there once and had stomach ache and never set my foot there again.
It is a zero star quality Indian food. This are can use a good Indian restaurant but the owner doesn't know what she is doing.

This is a nice family run place, and the food is very tasty. We have been going there since they opened, and enjoy the food, and service. They do not offer a buffet, but the portions are plenty big enough to fill up even big eaters. I recomment trying it out. You will like the friendly service, and good food.

Absolutely the best. Driving around Natomas today we came across a small indian restaurant. We love indian food and decided to give it a try.....it was fantastic! The service is friendly and welcoming; I felt like family . The food was spectacular. We have eaten indian food all over northern and central California, Mati's makes my top 3 list! The prices were unbelievable. I was able to buy enough food to feed my family of 5 for $44 and that included 2 Mango Lassi's. We had Chicken Biryani, Vindaloo, Butter Chicken,Rice, 6 orders of Naan, Raita, 3 chutneys, the crispy wafers ( I forgot what they are called) and of course our 2 mango Lassi's. All of which was to die for! You must take the time to try Mati's. I live an hour away and I know I'll be coming back soon!
Best quality AND best value indian cuisine. I am a weekly customer and have never been disappointed by the quality of food served at Mati's. The portions are generous and prices very reasonable. The service is always friendly and even at the busiest times they take a moment to greet and welcome you. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Great Indian food, Fast friendly Service. Whether you're trying indian food for the first time or you know what indian food is all about, Mati's is the place to go. This family run establishment is very friendly and they welcome you to sample any and all dishes. If you've never had indian food, you don't know what you're missing. There is a great variety of vegetarian and meat dishes, from not too spicy to extra spicy. If you know indian good indian food, you'll make this a regular place to go. My favorite thing to get is the chicken and lamb curry. I usually can't stop eating it once I start. But a person with self control, unlike me, can make one meal last until the next day. I highly recommend trying Mati's.

The food is high quality and delicious, the price is affordable, and the employees are extremely friendly. What more can you ask for? For someone who eats out often, the service is the best I?ve ever encountered. It?s hard to find such service where they actually do treat their customers as their number one priority and when you go there you?ll feel right at home.
There?s such a tasty selection to choose from that they offer free samples. I personally recommend their Buttered chicken and ?Cilantro? naan. Their combo plates have so much food, I always have enough for dinner and sometimes I might even share it with a friend.
I strongly recommend ?Mati?s Indian Express? as your number one choice for Indian Food.

Great place to pop in and leave with a delicious indian feast!.
Very tasty Indian take-out, (though not as spicy and bold as full service restaurants), and at a good price. When time is an issue, this is usually our first choice. Daily specials help those on a budget, and the portion sizes are very ample. If you're in a super hurry, DO NOT strike up a conversation with the female owner... she's a very nice woman who LOVES to talk!
Overall, this is an extremely clean, tasty, and affordable option for Indian on the go! In fact, writing this has made me hungry... looks like MATI'S tonight!
