GREAT FOOD. I SHOPPED AT CHILDREN'S COLLECTIONS AT 5219 BELLAIRE BLVD. THE EMPLOYEES TOLD ME ABOUT THE WONDERFUL FOOD AT THIS RESTAURANT. I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED COMING HERE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND EACH TIME GLAD WE CAME HERE. The food is fresh, and good.
best korean food in Houston, anywhere.. the best korean food ever! buffet is a bargain! both lunch and dinner. they are always fresh both meats and vegetables, the little korean side dishes are wonderful. I have been to east and west coast korean restaurants, this one is the best. I think it is one of those best kept secret of Houston! try it.
Best Korean food in Houston. I've eaten here about 4 times and my family absolutely loves it! We're familiar with Korean food and every visit has been worth it. It is a buffet but like other users have mentioned, it is not your typical Asian buffet. We chose our meat of choice (ranging from steaks- galbi- to chicken, pork, and seafood) which was grilled for us while we chose our side dishes from the expansive buffet line. We like to eat here because they have every Korean side dish you can possibly think of...and you can eat as much as you like! I'm continually impressed with the freshness and quality of the food and we will def be back. Keep up the good work. FYI: The first time we went we passed right by it but it's on bellaire between kirkwood and wilcrest.

Korea Garden Grille is an absolute treasure find! It's located on the north side of Bellaire Blvd between the light intersections of Belle Park Dr. and Boone Rd. The food is very fresh and the selection rivals all other Korean restaurants. But what sets this restaurant apart from the competition are two things:
1. It's Korean BUFFET-STYLE! And yet the quality of the food is even BETTER than other Korean restaurants.
2. The insane price of $18.95 for all-you-can-eat buffet (the first Korean buffet restaurant I've ever heard of). $13.95 for Lunch buffet!
I go to eat dinner with my girlfriend here at least once a week because it's so affordable (though I expect their prices to increase at some point since this place just opened last year). We don't even think about going to any steakhouses (except maybe Churrasco's once or twice a year) now. Korean barbeque is just way better than steak. So you can imagine Korea Garden Grille's buffet for $18.95 is very nice.
I love the many various kimchi dishes they serve and they have plenty of seafood and vegetable cakes, too. I'm not too fond of these (I'm a meat-and-kimchi guy) but my girlfriend loves them.
The restaurant is very clean and fits both business and casual customers (like any Japanese restaurant). The only minor drawback is the canned pineapples and peaches but why anyone would go to a Korean buffet to eat fruits is beyond me. Even though this is buffet-style, you can still cook at your table, too.
Bottom line: Korea Garden Grille is now my FAVORITE restaurant in Houston (my previous favorite was Pappasitos). Don't let the "buffet" term fool you. This isn't like any cheap, disgusting Golden Corral or mediocre Chinese buffet. This is amazing quality Korean BBQ better than any other!
If you're a fan of Korean food, trust me when I say this is the best in town. If you like steak but never tried Korean BBQ yet, you're missing out! It's THAT good!
Spicy but delicious!. I was driving on Bellaire and spotted this place across from Hong Kong Market. I have Korean friends and have been exposed to Korean food. But this was an unexpected find! Firstly, the interior is clean, modern, and...clean! A rarity in the Bellaire area. Food was absolutely wonderful. It is all you can eat. There was an extensive line of fresh vegetables- those seasoned side dishes. There were like 7 different meats from which I chose galbi and this spicy pork. Everything I tried was well seasoned and tasty. I am blown by this place and wished I had heard about it earlier. Will be back!
