Tips for Sedona Fitness

Dissapointed too!. I went to work out at this facility and the doors were locked and there was a sign onthe door saying they are closed. Now I'm having a hell of a time getting them to stop the draft , apparently the membership has been transferred to Fit GYm (a gym i am NOT interested in going to) not to mention they drafted me for $120 4 days before they closed knowing full well they were going to close I'm sure! I had to switch banks and close my bank account to stop the drafts from a gym that is NOT EVEN IN BUSINESS ANYMORE! I called the Sedona in The Woodlands and they were absolutely NO help. Beware when joining these franchises (except for Curves who is reputable) and REALLY beware when signing up for a draft! Also, the owner tried to get me to do hair removal which is $99 a pop, however you need 5-6 treatments for it to be effective. So... had i signed up for that I would have gotten robbed on that too. Very sad !

Very disappointed. I just have to say that I am very disappointed about how Sedona fitness in Conroe went about closing the club. We were not at all informed and we lost money, some more than others. I was there thursday and a lady signed up and they closed that friday. From what I heard they kept quit a bit of her money. I went to sedona to have them help me and with my monthly payment hopefully help them as well. I really was sad about the news because I enjoyed the place but I think that I speak for all of us, we got screwed. There were and are cheaper places out there but we wanted to be loyal. Where did that get us ? How do we get reembursed?

Very disappointed overall.. Sedona is a beautiful facility. Unfortunately, the luster soon fades. Class schedules are highly inconsistent and there is very limited choice---seldom is the same class offered more than once per week. It is difficult to maintain any sort of regimen. Classes are geared for those who are at home during the day, not for us working girls! Don't plan on attending classes after 5 p.m. They close at 8 p.m. and they mean 8 p.m. Even when there is a rare 7 p.m. class, expect it to be interrupted with the vaccuum cleaner. They close at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and they aren't open on Sundays or holidays. Power Hour (which is basically going around on the fitness equipment circle) is substituted over and over in the class schedule in lieu of actual classes from certified instructors---Power Hour is driven by general employees who don't seem to have any real fitness instruction training. And, Power Hour is free to everyone, so don't pay for the elite Platinum Plus plan for the extra class availability. I was also somewhat frustrated by what seemed to be constant squabbles going on between employees and the very high employee turnover. Equipment is modern, but often broken for long periods of time. Very disappointed overall.
