Chili's Bar and Grill – phone 2817410644This was the worst food and service I have ever had at a restaurant. We walked in and the we waited for the hostess to taje us to a table there was no ther people in ine. She just looked around and zoned out we had to lether know we were waiting to be seated and we were 1 foot in front of her. Then she asked is this table okay and we said kno it is too crowded here she seemed pissed so we move dto a back table. the waitress was nice but when we asked fro a refill she walke doff then returned with it but we had no idea if she heard us or not. we were in the pearland location on broadway street on 4/30/2010 around 8pm. it took forever to get our spinach dip appetizer then it came and then the manager gave us free short rib appetizer becasue she calle dthat in instead of the spinach-art dip. Then our food came. None of the plates looked good. My moterey chicken was so bland. all portions too small. fried cheese stick taste like from the grocery store. in the middle of my mashed potatoes was a big black pc of rotten potatoe -the waitress tried to syai t was skin the manager said they microwave the potatoes and they over microwaved it - so then why weren't all the mash poatoe black - i smelle dit he said its just burndt potatoe you tell by teh smell it was rotten and as bg as a quearter but hticker. he grabbed it in teh napkin and nverr offerd a discount only would i like more potatoes. the appetizers were so small what a joke! everything was half ass prepared and either bland or over salted . my sister aske dthe manager why they salted the fries she could barely eat them they were so salty he gave her some BS line. he was mad becasue we got the free rib appetizers at the fault of the waitress so he wasnt goignt o budge as we filed complaints about out food. we were too scared to order dessert we figure the food was bad the dessert is bad. the manager turned down the music so we could hear each other but the crowd were still loud which the manager said he could not control.we were not even near the var area. then as we finishe dup around the corner the young ms girl was sweeping the floor with the broom and the catcher with the lid that closes as yo u move it. so instead of keeping the catcher opened as she swept trash in pc by pc she would let the lid slam with each pc of food or trash she swept in. so the noise was bump, bump, bump, bump loud and over and over she was too laxy to hold the cathcer open until she was done. I got out of my seat and walked ove rto her and told her to stop bumping the cathcer. I knew that she could do that job without that noise. She gave me a go to hell look and said okay and smiled and just stood there. The table next to her said something smart ass and she laughed and watched me until we left the resturant - first all resturants want to spweey dirt around you while you try to eat bbut her being lazy with the cathcer making more noise was only laziness and i dont care that you have more noice while you try to relax and enjoy your meal attitude! I dropped 20 dollars and i was so disappointed i will never go back ever!!!!!
