My story: I was carpooling with my husband, taking him to work, and happened to see this place on the way. I dropped him off and headed back to the salon. It looks quite upscale from the outside and has prices to match. I went in and requested a shampoo, cut, and blow dry style (heat tools are $10 extra). Anyway, I didn't have to wait at all, and went to wash my hair. Not sure on this but I felt as though the lady hadn't even completely rinsed out the shampoo before putting in the conditioner. Not to mention, the water was FREEZING COLD. Not a huge deal, whatever. Towel dry hair and go sit in chair. Now keep in mind I had shown this woman several photos of what I was goin for and they were all very simple. Just a trim, touch up layers and bangs. I'm always one to give people the benefit of the doubt, and did so even as the lady kept asking her coworker which products were which, as if this was her very first day at work. Hispanic women have always been good with my hair, so I continue to sit as she cut, or chopped, straight across on every section of my hair. I though maybe there was a method to her madness and that it might be some awesome technique and might look amazing. Nope. I paid $10 extra for a blow dry style that made my hair look like a giant, dried up hairball that was chopped in areas. After paying the $40, I went home and washed it again, and straightened it, thinking that maybe it was just the awful style. Nope. It looked even MORE choppy, as if a two year old had taken scissors to my head while I slept. No blending, all chopped up. Bottom of my hair in a straight line/chop from back to front. I've been wearing my hair up/under hats since I got it done because I'm afraid to go back and sound disrespectful. It looks hideous and I feel embarrassed to let my hair down at all. Save yourself the heartbreak... That's all I gotta say
