BEST SALON FOR HAIR, NAILS AND SHOPPING EVER. THEY DO STILL EXIST. – For All you Ladies Out There Wondering, What Happened to the Days of the Customer Comes First.
I have gone to Roxyz off and on for years and have always recieved first class service at affordable prices. I stopped going around Dec. of 2007 because the owner closed the shop more than it was open. Even when Roxy was there she wasn't I depended on Jessica to do my hair, makeup and waxing. She is a sweetheart and very patient. I just love her to death even if I am feeling down she is so perky I cheer right up. However, with the shop being closed more than it was open I had to seek another place to recieve my services but I was only to find out that the grass is not always greener somewhere else. So after one year I returned to Roxys to find out that Jessica is still there. This put a huge smile on my face, I also found out that Roxy is no longer the owner and Elizabeth is the new owner the Salon, also a boutique which has a charmingly warm and welcoming feel, they always offer you coffee, soda, water, wine ect
The boutique offers one of a kind merchandise of stylish jewelry, handbags and clothing for almost all budgets the items are irresistible, so ladies bring your wallets. They have one of the best manicurists I have ever recieved acrylics from her name is Cathleen she does such beautiful acrylics so effortlessly it like an art form, not too mention her pedicures are so relaxing they will put you to sleep, she works by appointment only so be sure to call before you come in, she says she is very booked 210-595-7985. The salon has been remodeled and looks beautiful. I checked with Texas Department of License and they show a perfect record as well as the fact you will never have to worry about catching germs here they use medical style sanitation for all there tools. I have and will refer all my aquaintances to Roxys. Please disregard any reviews prior to September of 2008 this was approximately when Roxys went under new ownership and made this lady very happy again.
great service – I HAVE GOTTEN MY HAIR DONE AT ROXYZ FOR YEARS I HAVE GONE OTHER PLACES WHEN I CAN NOT MAKE IT TO HER. BUT I HAVE ONLY HAD THE COLOR EXACTLY HOW I WANTED IT DONE AT ROXYZ. SHE TAKES HER TIME AND IS PATIENT SHE IS NOT TRYING TO HURRY UP AND RUN YOU OFF FOR ANOTHER CUSTOMER. I ALSO HAVE A VERY SENSITIVE SCALP AND SHE IS VERY GENTILE AND HER PRODUCT DIDN'T IRRITATE MY HEAD EITHER. THE SALON IS A GREAT SALON VERY INVITING AND COMFORTING. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE OTHER STYLIST BUT ROXY THE OWNER IS THE BEST!
Poor Technique and Customer Service – Would not recommend this hair salon. The service was horrible and the hair stylist was running 1 hour late. Besides being late the color requested was chocolate brown, and after 1.5hrs of sitting with color on my hair it turned out a redish brown(not what I requested). The stylist was trying to complete my appointment as well as another client at the same time definitely not professional. I also received a horrible hair cut after being highly disappointed with the color. My hair cut was uneven, choppy, and not texturized in any shape that I had asked for (an angled bob). Long story short after enduring 4 hours of horrible service at Roxyz I had to pay someone to fix my cut and color the next day at my usual salon Toni and Guy. So please think twice before going to this salon, I should have scheduled with the owner of Roxyz and not the stylist that I chose. Please don't make the same mistake that I did.
