Excellent. We love our sylish Ree. She is the best! The salon is clean and well kept. Ree is professional and takes pride in her work. I would refer Ree and this salon to anyone. We love it!
Quality Skin Treatment for Razor Shaves.
My husband used a gift certificate at Metro Styles to address his razor bump issues from improper shaving, and I noticed an immediate improvement after 2 to 3 services. The skin care therapist, Tina McLendon, performed a signature shave service (pre-treatment men's facial), and the barber/owner performed the razor shave.
Afterwards the master barber gave my husband a "Proper Shaving Guide" and Tina provided after care shaving/skin care products for my husband to use at home. I keep these items in our bathroom so he doesn't forget - LOL!
Overall, his razor bumps are gone and he seemed very please with service, atmoshpere, the quality of the products and the results.....AND so was I !
An oasis for the male species. Every man need to be pampered sometimes, a necessity for great balance, Metro Styles is that place where a man can relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings and soft jazz music, a must stop for every man at least once in his life, I guarantee you'll be back for more.
Relaxation and Total Comfort. I visited Metro Styles a while ago to look for some pampering services for my husband. The shop is all masculine--not something that 'used to be pink'. It is designed for men and their comfort with jazz playing in the bacground and hues of dark wood and leather. The location is definitely off the beaten path, but that is part of the charm and the relaxing effect. If you're looking for privacy, a peaceful atmosphere and personal attention by a professional Master Barber, this is the place!
Perfect Shave Everytime and Excellent Personalized Service.
It's true, men need pampering too....but in a masculine salon. The barber spa is unique in this area, but popular in metro cities outside NC, and I'm glad Metro brought that theme to Raleigh, NC. I highly recommend this place, at least once .... guys treat yourself when you have down time or preparing for a special event. (e.g.) Groomsmen, prom, 1st date, anniversary, anything.....just go for the experience!
I promise after receiving a pre-treatment shave by the magical hands of the skin care specialist and an astonishing razor shave reclined back in a mahogany / leather barber chair by the Master Barber - you'll be back for more ME TIME before TEE TIME.
Excellent retail products. I purchased retail products (pre-clipper treatment & aftershave) and was very pleased with them. The pre-clipper treatment works perfectly and appears to help me get a closer shave. There is no redness or irritation during or after shaving when using this product. The aftershave product returns moisture to your skin as opposed to alcohol based products that strip moisture. I would definitely recommend to anyone who uses electric razors/clippers on a regular basis.
Professional service, excellent skin and hair care products for men!.
New and great experience for a male seriously seeking to invest time and money into hair, skin and nail care treatment....without the unisex atmosphere. Can't wait to see the prototype expand in spring 2008.
The prototype now offers on-line retail for shaving products, hair care products, and awesome onsight face cleansing, bald head shave and hot razor shaves with blades imported from Germany and Japan.
I recommend guys to try out Metro Styles and for ladies to purchase gift certificates.
I only wish appointment were open and not restricted to weekends for new clients...oh well!
