I love Red Mango – The store in Westwood Village is very cool! They have a great decor including booths and relaxing chairs. It's clearly an upscale yogurt shop. they play great, upbeat music too. It's really a cool place for a first date or for an afternoon treat with a group of friends. The yogurt is great - I love the original with strawberries, mochi and mango...YUM! This place is awesome and I will definitely return. The only con is that parking is tough to find :(
I'm totally hooked! – I was into Red Mango before I even knew that there was another FroYo place serving thhe tart authentic stuff. I was hooked.
Maybe it's the fact that it's desert without the guilt, maybe it's the fact that it's more decadent than my regular old smoothy additction- or maybe it's actually an addictive substance :) No matter what the reason, I love Red Mango
Fun place to hang out – I actually like this place more than I like Pinkberry. The toppings are similar, the flavor options are the same, and the prices are comparable. Overall I think the yogurt (original flavor) tastes better and is apparently healthier. It's also more inviting of a place to eat at - the decor is modern and stylish, and the booths are super comfortable.
Almost identical to Pinkberry – In the ?fro-yo? wars, so to speak, I think Red Mango?s product tastes the most similar to that of Pinkberry?s original flavor, though again, perhaps a little less thick and tart. The fresh fruit, candy and cereal topping options are almost the same at the two chains with one notable exception: Red Mango offers Ghirardelli chocolate bites. Yum! However, considering the prices, the fro-yo flavors and the toppings are almost identical at Red Mango and Pinkberry, it all just comes down to whichever shop is closer to me when the craving for something cold and creamy strikes.
Asia's favorite authentic frozen yogurt chain and Pinkberry rival poised to be the top cat of L.A.'s hip and healthy. – In Short
With 130 hugely successful stores in Korea, Red Mango now plans to also be the ubiquitous frozen yogurt trend of the U.S. Established well before rival Pinkberry (which doesn't use real yogurt), the Korean franchise targets a health-conscious, hip, youthful audience. Natural earth tones dominate stylish lounge-y decor of cafe chairs and booths. Nonfat frozen yogurt and smoothies come in plain and green tea flavors, with toppings of fresh mango, banana, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, plus sliced almonds, granola and cereal.
