great service – I was very happy with the way I was treated at Mederios Williams Chevrolet. I now have a Chev Balabu and very happy with with my car and the deal I got from them
Exceptional Performance – Very impressed with the entire used car buying experience at Medeiros - Williams. Traveled > 50 miles to shop there and bought on 1st visit. I was treated with respect during the sales process and salesman (Michael) did not use high pressure tactics - while the negotiations took place. After the sale was complete, all promises were kept and promptly completed to my satisfaction. Very impressed with both phone and Email communications - prior to vehicle pick-up. Spoke with Service Manager (David) by phone - he was very professional and responsive. Out of state registration was required and all of the documents were complete and accurate. Prices were more favorable at this dealership than for comparable used cars in CT. My used car was prepped perfectly and I noted the attention to detail. Well worth the trip north and based upon my positive experience...will recommend this Chevy dealer to others here in CT. Very pleased with the overall sale. Again, due to the long drive to the dealer - the communications were a key element, subsequent to the sales transaction.
After driving over 2hrs. to get there we were told to go outside in the 15 degree weather and wait, we were kept waiting for a half hour or so and in general treated very rudely, it seemed like a bother for them... WE had to clean the ice and snow off the windows of the vehicles and move them out of the tight spaces of the lot ourselves, which was not even plowed or sanded.. After a test ride we went inside and were asked to make an offer, we did and were then asked if we would buy that day. Our reply was tomorrow. The GM who was eavesdropping on our conversation from across the tiny showroom floor shouted out" don't waste our time we don't negotiate prices" it seems that because we were not prepared to buy that day everything changed..I replied that Chevy numbers were off 40-50% is this anyway to treat customers. who have drive over 2hrs to get there....he repled that they were busier than ever and could have cared less....We were literally shown the door and kicked out.....IT SEEMS THAT WE WERE THE ONES THAT WASTED 5 HOURS OF OUR TIME....I have purchase over 20 vehicles in my lifetime and never been treated so rudely by a salesperson selling anything.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER..
BUYER BEWARE....STEER CLEAR OF THIS DEALER!!!!! – Totally dissappointed with my expierience with this dealer. I seen this Avalanche on the yahoocars website which was just what I'd been looking for. Bought the truck and flew down to Mass from NY to pick it up the next day. I think they took pictures of a different truck because the one I was there to pick up was disgusting!! They hadn't even cleaned it, the passenger window and mirror didn't work along with the navagation system and speedometer!!!! There's no way this thing would have even passed inspection!!! I told them the deal was off, rented a car (which cost even more money) and drove home.
However just before I left I found out that the guy sitting at the counter the whole day watching my string of events was the owner...think he ever apologized at all....NOT ONCE!!! I was totally disgusted with the whole experience and hope I don't have a day from hell like that again anytime soon!!!
stay away – all in all i found this dealership to be dishonest. they charge a fee that of 234 dollars that they are not upfront about in addition they told me i could only buy an extended warranty at the time of purchase , i contacted gm and they told me this is not the case. also they forced me to finance the tax amount telling me i couldnt pay it at the dmv, when in fact you can. i resent being nickeled and dimed anbd felt they fit in to the classic stereotype of used car salesmen
STEER CLEAR....DONT BUY HERE!!!!!! – Had a horrible experience buying a corvette with cash from them. Flew in and they wouldn't even pick me up from the airport. Then sold me a car that was missing options like the keyless entry remote, balled tires, and brakes that wouldn't pass inspection. Course they sold me new tires ($1000). Since i flew there and had to drive 600 miles back home. Then got on the road and had to turn around TWICE within 30 miles, because of service engine lights coming on and stereo melting. In-which, i incurred several hundred dollars in hotel expenses while waiting for a new catalytic converter (yes that too) and new stereo to be faulty installed with masking tape (when i got home and had to have it replaced once again). Had to have another $1500 dollars put into car within a week of getting it home at my local Kurtis Chevy dealer. They couldn't figure out why the service light came on at Medeiros Williams Chevrolet (descending unit, new brakes, and wheel bearings had to be replaced). They said they would cover this and that under warranty but i STILL dont have one dime from them in reimbursement. Christian the salesman is liar. Things like "only one owner" then i pull NADA and see it says three owners.
Think of a smelly bowel movement and this dealership as one and the same!!!!!!
Avoid hassles and steer clear !!!!
