Solid neighborhood bistro with smart cocktails. – This is an odd stretch of 2nd avenue. There are Lots of cafes and dive bars-but few restaurants for grown-ups. Belcourt tries to be all things for the masses.

Oyster-happy hour--smart cocktails and a small menu. Never really overly crowded then-but it is a good value-and relaxing.

Dinner is an intriguing mix of small plates and a hand-ful of appetizers. I have always enjoyed everything. The persian rubbed chicken entree is huge and amongst the tastiest fowls I have encountered!

I wish they had more selection-but they always have specials.

I have not had brunch-but have heard great things and it looks full when I walk by.

For this stretch of the East Village-you really cant go wrong at Belcourt.

New favorite brunch spot – Brunch is a New Yorker's rite of passage. Whether soothing a hang-over or entertaining guests; I have tried most places in lower manhattan.

Belcourt has now become my go to spot. Why--Food is perfect.

Perfect? Every unique dish has a special flair.

Simple biscuits--fluffy clouds of carbs with organic jam and home-made butter. This is a must--just sit down order it with your perfectly blended bloody mary.

Then your puzzle begins--what to order!

Shirred eggs--manchego, spinach and mushrooms--a gooey symphony!

Vanilla and bourbon French toast with ricotta--yes please!

French Press---Kenyan or Brazilian coffee--a dilemma.

The only way I am truly happy here is if I bring a large group and we order one of everything!

Great outdoor seating restaurant – I don't understand why I found this place lately.

I saw this place many times but I didn't try before last sunday. Many people enjoyed their dinner and it attracted me and friends in there. We got table outside..actually it's good scene on this spot. Food? never ask me..it's very delicious. Service? good on consideration that situation was so busy. price was reasonable. Not cheap but it worh it.

They have enough and unique wine list, it was good to me.

Nice dinner for reunion – We got reunion on last saturday. It was really long time to see all of them. With candle nits, its atmosphere looks so good. We ordered various foods and most of them were excellent, but I don't want to recommend french fries because it was too salty. Service was friendly. Wine list was also notable. Personally I would be back here. Food was very delicious.

Awesome~ – Belcourt means delicious brunch. I love coming to Belcourt on the weekends and do not mind the wait, the food makes it up. Belcourt taught me to enjoy organic eggs. After your first Sunday brunch here, you would never want to go back to those places for the food! Belcourt is my fav!!! And I know belocurt is doing a event. I had free soup and it's really excellent.

I heard their dinner menu is specular also and wine list is too. I need to try it out!
