Caring Employees. I've been taking my 2 English Setters there for 2 years now. They are friendly, helpfull and caring about our dogs, they have them bathed or brushed when asked and have provided room for longer stays at the last minute. I would not hesitate to tell friends and family to bring their pets here.
caution for pups.
Just wanted to pass the word what happened to our four month old english shepherd, while she was at stay and play pet care center[. Unfortunately, it was not a good outcome. We took her to the day care to play and socialize with other dogs, but she came home with what the vet calls, "grass burns" . Pretty much , she was playing way too hard with other dogs for too long without any breaks. She is a puppy, and seems to not know when to stop, so we were relying on the humans that work there to take care of her.
The next day she was lethargic, but we noticed that her two back hocks were swollen and she was having a hard time sitting. As a precaution, we called the vet and they suggested we bring her in. The vet checked her out and told us that they would have to shave her legs to see what was bothering her. If that wasn't traumatic enough, they had to do testing work to see if the infection went into her. 200 dollars later after the first visit, and repeat visits every three days to see if she has healed, will cost us well over 500 dollars. So, I decided it was time to call the facility and ask some questions and see what they could do. Their reply was we are sorry to hear that. That's it. No refunds, no offers for classes or anything. I am very disappointed with this facility and as a pet owner, I think everyone should be cautious when taking your puppy/dog to stay and play pet care center.
