If you are looking for Persian restaurant that has everything traditional, Look no further. Darvish Tea House is a traditional Persian cuisine. Darvish Tea house features a Menu with a huge assortment of Persian foods and appetizers, the fresh Veggies is incredible... the meats are of much better quality than I have seen anywhere else in town.
Their Menu has some of the finest Kabobs you can eat. . Good People, Good Eats Good Prices I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to eat real Persian Cuisine.
life music every Saturday and Friday its all about dancing and hook ups
Darvish Tea House also has the “puff puff” part of hookah down so well that you most definitely do not want to pass it up. Darvish tea House is a place that is deeply rooted in social interaction, so make sure you take your friends.
Best Persian Food, Hookahs, and Atmosphere! – I love going to Darvish! It's one of the best Persian restaurants in Atlanta, and I have been to all of them. I love the atmosphere because it's unlike any other restaurant. You feel like you are actually stepping into an actual old Persian teahouse. The food is excellent and extremely delicious. I normally go for lunch quite often because of the buffet. On the weekends, they have bellydancers and a dj for the entertainment. I would recommend this place to everyone.
#1 RESTURANTS IN TOWN... – BEST FOOD,HOOKAS,AND GERAAAAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.......
Great Dining Experience – My family and I went to Darvish for the first time a few nights ago for dinner. The ambiance was very unique and uplifting. The service was very well coordinated and the food was amazing. I recommend the Shish Kabob and Rack of Lamb if you ever decide to go there. I tried the hookah for the first time and it was truly an experience by its own. They had live music and couple of belly dancers which kept the crowd involved as they were eating. An amazing night........
DARVISH SUPPRISED ME FOR MY 21ST BDAY – my mom told me if you want to go somewhere to have a good food and entertainment, place a reservation at darvish so i went online and looked at there menu and liked it and placed my 21st bday party there.

Greate for parties and large events. Excellent Service and Very Friendly!
Horrible Customer Service – I dined at this restaurant with my boyfriend for the first time on the night of October 11,2008. My boyfriend and I are both of Persian backgrounds, so we were quite familiar with the dishes served. We had Kabob-e-Khubideh and Kabob-e-Soltani. Both beef kabob dishes that were very palatable; the prices for the dishes were reasonable. However, the service was absolutely horrible. Basically, our waiter came to our table 3 times: to place our orders, serve the food, and bring the check. Our drinks were never refilled. We had to wait for a long time for our food to be brought out, and when we asked to have a hookah, we were rudely denied. The waiter promptly asked for ID. He went away for a couple of minutes with my boyfriend's ID and then came back denying our request for a hookah claiming that the federal law requires you to be "20 and older to smoke hookah." My boyfriend is 18 and I'm 20. When we asked which law he was taking about because federal and state laws for purchasing tobacco products is 18, therein making it legal for my boyfriend to smoke hookah, he mumbled something and quickly went off never coming back except when we had to flag him down for our check. We still wanted a hookah, so we had to flag down another waiter because ours was nowhere in sight. The other waiter checked our IDs and brought our hookahs without any problem. Overall this experience was quite unpleasant, and I was very disappointed at the low quality of service we had. If I had the option of going to this restaurant again, I definitely would not unless management decided to revamp its employees.
Completely Unsuitable for a Large Event – We had a 50 person office party at Darvish and had in writing a complete menu including Rac of Lamb, fish, beef filet, appetizers on the table upon arrival, and many other details. When we arrived there was no food on the tables (which were unnecessarily crammed in the middle of the room) and not much materialized the entire evening. Instead of food continuously arriving at the table as Alex had promised, after an excrutiating wait, the large group was invited to stand in line for a disappointing buffet lacking lamb, fish, and many other details promised. The group evacuated earlier than any office party I have thrown in my 10 years + of planning. DO NOT CONSIDER THIS PLACE FOR A LARGE AFFAIR! They are completely unprepared and undependable for such an event.
we got our money's worth......great food, great atmosphere, good people..... – we were cordially welcomed at the door and immediately seated. The service was excellent. This place was cozey and romantic. Everyone was very nice to us. I had the rackof lamb kabob which was the best I had ever had anywhere. They bake fresh bread right in front of you and it is delicious. The wine selection was short but my wine was great. They are going to do full liqour the manager said in a few weeks. Belly dancers kept us entertained and I am happy To have spent my money there. The dessert and the hookah topped the night for us. We danced laughed, enjoyed ourselves and will absolutely go back there again. I hate to go somewhere and spend a couple of hundred dollars and at the end feel like I didn't get my money's worth. At Darvish, I felt that I got every penny back and then some.....
