there are better places out there – For the food you get, the price is not very good. I'd rather go to Pei Wei where the food is amazing everytime and there is a great deal of variety. Panda Express was a quick place to stop for lunch but there were only a few choices and they were not very appetizing.
GOOD EATS – been here 5-10 times (always drive-thru)
its fast service and excellent food, chow-mein is real good with 'KUNG PAU CHICKEN" very spicy and a old favorite.
Fast and casual Chinese dining for the value-minded. – In Short
With hundreds of locations nationwide, this is America's largest fast-food chain serving Chinese cuisine. Customers looking for a quick, cheap lunch or dinner line up for traditional wok dishes including kung pao chicken, beef with broccoli and chow mein or the Panda Express original orange-flavored chicken. Meals can be had to go or in the restaurants' cafeteria-style table settings, and even delivered en masse to offices and parties with catering packages.
Another version of chinese food – I have been to the Panda Express several times. My first reason for going would be I like the fact that you do not find Chinese foods with a drive-thru, which they have. My second reason would be their foods taste much differently than your regular known chinese restaurants. By far it's not the best chinese food I've eaten and their menu is way too limited. Where is the tofu? I've also wondered why they change their menu? I use too love this Kong Pao shrimp that was fire hot, but they no longer serve this on their menu, no explanation given. If you are looking for simple chinese food, then this would the place for you because again, the menu is too limited not a lot of choices to choose from at all. They have started server cheese wontons, which are the worst I've ever tasted, there's no flavor and the wonton is cooked too hard. At times I prefer their chow mein, but often it's over cooked and burnt. I went in twice and picked up my order and the chow mein was cooked better than when I picked it up through the driver service window. I've gotten food for other family members, but they seem to think their foods are worth skipping compared to a regular chinese place. Their hot & sour soup doesn't look like what you're use to and often looks like nasty cold flem, so I would not recommend, plus I've been there to get soup and they say they are "out" what on earth? Didn't I say their menu is limited? Their eggs rolls consist of chicken and vegetables, but they are awlful, so I've only gotten them twice. I use too like their sweet breaded chicken I forget the correct name, but at times the pieces are too big. Would I recommend, no because nobody I know thinks they have enough varieties of foods on their menu. I think it's for the families that aren't that picky with their foods and pretty much aren't hard to please. Might be a great place for a casual date.
Great fast food Chinese food – I love Panda Express. I have eaten there several times, and each time I enjoyed it. It is fast food, and Chinese food. Try it, you'll love it. Thanks for coming to Apex.
