Worst Pedicure Ever – Horrible service
A very good friend of mine made reservations for her bridal party and herself (the bride) to have pedicures. The worst thing that happened while we were there happened to the bride. She was getting her manicure and the girl working on her nails messed up-she put some sort of chemical on at the wrong time and the bride's nails were all messed up. So, as someone else was fixing them she was burned 2 times and cut. When she told the manager that she didn't want to pay full price the manager got angry and said, "No, you pay now!" Well, the bride said she at least deserved a discount for their mistake and for making her late-like 50%. The manager said, "10% discount, you pay and get out." RUDE! From the moment we walked in the door we got dirty looks, the manager seemed angry, and the girls doing our nails were in a hurry. We had reservations so I don't think the manager could have been upset that there was so many of us, and there were not a lot of people waiting so I don't know why the girls worked so fast. It was the fastest pedicure I had ever had. Horrible service. I would never go there again.
Horrible manicure – when in for a manicure and walked out with my feet in the same state as when i walked in. The girl really did not buffer the dry skin off the bottom of my feet. When I asked her to buffer my heels and use the pumice bar again to remove the dead skin she refused and the manager of the salon Tiffiny refused to do anything to correct the situation. They are not interested in doing a good job. They are only concerned with charging for bad service.
LIARS, RUDE, AND RIP-OFF – Called and scheduled 4 appointments. All Mani/pedi. Was given a price and booked the appointments. We all arrived, and they walked us in and started our pedicures. It was amazing (not going to lie). They the all asked if we wanted a disign on out toe.Sure, why not? None of us have EVER been there. We did not know we were getting charged for 3 extra dropps of polish. The one girl didnt get ANY polish, and she wasn't given a credit, but we were charged for 3 drops. Then had the manicures. After that we were given out total. It was $12.00 more, per person, than we were originally told. She said we had the pedi spa, as oppose of just a pedi. NO ONE told us there were two different pedi's and two different prices. There are no prices posted ANYWHERE!! Its in a book behind their desk. They just went ahead, did service and charged us an arm and a leg for. When confronted and explained to then, that i called and talk to them. They were VERY rude to us, and kept saying, sorry, i told you thats what youre getting. No SHE NEVER told any of us, about any prices, we all got the same thing, assuming it was a price i was told over the phone. they rushed us to pick a polish and and took our hand, lead us to the back room and started. Totally took advantage of us!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK!
The Best Nail Salon – I've been to many nail salons around town and I can say that I have finally found THE ONE that does my nails the way I like it. I'm very picky on how they're done. I like the curved, square style and Andy, the owner is the best at what he does. He listens to you and makes sure that you are happy with his work. I highly recommend visiting his nail salon, its no wonder why he won the "best nail salon in the city" award. I'm definitely going back.
Get nailed at Enso Nail Salon – The prices are very reasonable. You also are treated to a complimentary beverage. The quality of the manicures, pedicures, and acrylic set is phenomenal. If you are looking for a relaxing place to get your nails done in a comfortable environment that DOES NOT stink like acetone or have acrylic dust floating around, THIS is the place. There are large plasma tv's facing the client and relaxing music in the background for you to truly relax while getting your nails done. I have tried different nail salons around Pflugerville, Round Rock, Hutto, and North Austin, this is by far my favorite.
Least painful brow wax ever! – Obviously I've had my eyebrows waxed tons of times. They all varied from good to bad to horror movie. I think out of all the times I've gotten them done it's the least painful at Enso Nails. And my gosh are they thorough. I hate it when I leave and there's still strays here and there. They always take their time to do a wonderful job. And if I ever have anything to add the staff is so courteous to accommodate any adjustments I asked for. Best part? It's only $9 for an eyebrow wax. Absolutely cannot beat the level of service for that price.
Great nail salon, good locations – My experience at the Austin location was respectable. It's a great salon, very comfortable atmosphere. Although, their prices aren't posted at the shop (you have to ask to see the price book) or listen online, they're pretty reasonable.
The gentleman doing my acrylics didn't talk to me, ask me how I was doing. He did a beautiful set of acrylics, but I would have appreciated a warmer experience. When I go to a salon, I like to talk to the person working on my nails. I tried to engage him in conversation, ask him about himself, etc., but he was non-responsive. He also didn't know what I meant when I asked him to round the tips twice... even with hand motions.
Overall: great salon, great atmosphere, decent prices.
I've been to a LOT of nail salons... and I'm pretty picky when it comes to pampering and honest to god, they do a d*mn good job here!
Nice clean massage chairs? Check!
Large selection of polish colors? Check!
Friendly and competent staff? Check!
Other things that are awesome? The bathroom is clean. AND I love that they always offer a free beverage even though I could really care less.
Do the Spa Pedicure with the paraffin wax treatment. Makes your skin feel like a baby's butt!
Really Enjoy It! – Prior to being a loyal customer at this sweet salon for several months, i had my good and bad experiences at close to two dozens salon in town. But this one has me holding a 5-star rating at a heart beat. They greet me by name, know my polish choice and even recognize my voice on the phone whenever i call in for appointment. I had my trials on gel nails for 3 months, then switched to pink and white acrylic for a couple of month, and now back to gel nails. I am satisfied at both choices. i like the shininess from the gel, and the toughness from the acrylic. I like the fact that every technician i have had so far has been very attentive and skillful. One may file faster than the other, but they are all great. Their tools, their files, their tables are clean and neat. They are cheerful and fun to chat with. So, yeah, it's defintely a great place to get my beauty treatments done with a sure satisfaction.
fabulous service. affordable prices – I enjoy my treats every now and again but like many of you I'm on a budget between kids, home and all that good stuff. A couple times a month, however, I like to pamper myself a little bit by going to Enso and I really enjoy it every time. The staff is friendly courteous and highly professional. I always get the mani/pedi which runs $34! And the color last forever and ever. Very nice.
