Watch Your Wallet. This business could care less about their customer... so buyer beware.They want to run you over on the way to the bank. Behind all the "foo foo" bags and "haute" decor/front this is not your quaint, friendly neighborhood boutique that is interested in maintaining any kind of good customer service or your business. They choose not to price many of their items (don't be afraid to ask or you will be SORRY). Not only that they do not accept returns for refunds or store credit... period! They elect to not inform the customer of this policy nor state it on their receipt. Much of this reminds me of practices within the health care field and then I realized who the owner is and thus this explains volumes regarding the stores underlying philosophy. I would imagine that if the business was successful and had many devoted customers the complaints would be few and incidental. However, the actions speak opportunist and "get what I can". I know that this is one customer that will never shop at Apres again.

The store offers the ideal hostess or holiday gift, whether an inaugural-themed coaster, reusable tote, glassware vase, or colorful leather wallet. Shoppers may pick up stylish necklaces for themselves while grabbing scented candles and lip balm for others. The store, quiet and artfully laid out, offers a respite from the bustle of K Street. Since opening in 2007, it has been featured among local and national media outlets, including Oprah magazine.
