Good Sushi, cute place – I went to Blue Ribbon Sushi this past Tuesday for my boyfriend
Sushi Heaven? – Great sushi, better than koi or geisha, still a bit pricey
Best sushi I ever had – Probably the best sushi in New York, possibly the US.
Extremely fresh, great service, creative options and unbeatable quality.
Highly recommend the Green Tea Creme Brulee!
Great Sushi / Great Service – The menu is excellent and varied, and the service is really friendly and helpful. The specials menu always makes for a divine experience.
Wonderful – I love every Blue Ribbon Establishment.. This one has excellent sushi and cooked dishes.. I highly recommend the roasted bone marrow..rich and delicious
Sick from the Fish – While on Christmas holiday in New York City, I dined with family at Blue Ribbon. Always the adventurist, I tried the Chef's Sushi platter, with 1 roll and 7 different pieces of sashimi. My aunt and cousin both had the tempura rock shrimp. The food was decent (though I would recommend staying away from the flavored iced teas - they were quite bitter and terrible tasting!). 12 hours later, I was sick as a dog. I spent the remainder of my vacation laying on the bathroom floor at my hotel and then frantically searching for a hospital in the city when things got worse. I would highly advise that any potential diners stay far, far away from this place, and try one of the many other sushi joints in the neighborhood.
Great Sushi!! – It's located in hotel ?6?, small but very cozy. The bartenders are nice, and the Sushi is fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!!!
Best Sushi, Great Bartenders – Fabulous sushi - take 4 people and try the Boat, and add at least a fried oyster roll. This place is just as good as the original. The bartenders are great too.
The Blue Ribbon mini-empire expands upwards to midtown with this Japanese-bistro amalgam. – In Short
Blue Ribbon brings its signature high-bistro charm to an extensive sushi production just off the lobby of the boutique hotel, 6 Columbus. The main room calms customers--hotel guests, Time Warner employees, Blue Ribbon devotees--with a Zen atmosphere of ikebana flower arrangements, dramatic lighting and pale wood. A novella-length menu encompasses many categories from classic Japanese salads, tempura and a best-of sushi list to grilled entrees and a $125 surf and turf platter.
