Just look at this place. It's beautiful! And a little dangerous, as so many beautiful things are. Think wall-to-wall old school candy selections in a kitschy circus environment, one that entices you to purchase cupcake-flavored toothpaste that you will never, ever use. Not that that happened to me or anything.

You seriously will feel like a kid in a candy store at Big Top. Adorned w/ an old-timey soda bar & plethora of candy bins & a lot of smiles.

Steampunk Soda Fountain and Vintage Candy – The old school soda fountain makes for endless creations - reach for the chocolate covered bacon, and ask for Cameron!

My kids LOVE going here. Vintage circus decor, gummy everything, ice cream sodas, chocolate bacon. Need I say more?! Fun to browse.

Rude, overpriced, amazing store – We went for the first time ever this week. We were all excited and took my 6 year old there to celebrate his b-day. We got there at 7:20pm, and were immediately told that the store was closing (closing time was 8pm that day) and we'd have to hurry. All three kids got to pick out something small, and mom and dad got 3 candy bars, 3 drinks, and 3 strips of the bacon. Total cost $69!! I don't understand how this place stays in business. The chocolate covered bacon was good though.

Nothing special – This place seems like a dream come true. An old fashioned candy and soda shop. I tried my first piece of salt water taffy, nothing special. Amy had a piece of chocolate covered bacon which she loved, I thought it was okay. But what I HAVE to hate on are the truffles. We were really excited to have a small truffle. I got the Black Forest and she got a Dark Chocoalte Macadamia Nut truffle. They were TERRIBLE! The Black Forest wreaked of artificial cherry flavoring and it was SO sweet it was nauseating. Amy's also tasted artificial and ridiculously sweet. It was so disappointing and just downright inedible, and that's say a lot for chocolate! Why is it so hard to find people who use real ingredients instead of just artificially flavored extracts? Who don't make everything sickeningly sweet?

I can't speak for the sodas or beverages because I didn't have any of that. For candy buying it is a good place, although expensive. For chocolate, it's not recommended at all. Each truffle was $2.47 and not good at all.

SoCo goes sideshow with a nostalgic stop for shoppers with a sweet tooth. – In Short
Like the legendary circus, this narrow but well-stocked sugar emporium and soda fountain inspires slack-jawed marvel in kids of all ages. Throughout the mustard and maroon-hued space, vintage musical instruments and circus memorabilia (minus the creepy clowns) adorn the walls. Choose from traditional packaged candies and bulk bins filled with gummy bears, circus peanuts and all things chocolate covered or let the tie-clad soda jerks whip up a frothy egg cream or thick malt.
