BEST THAI FOOD EVER – This is the best thai food i have ever had. It is amazing. Skip entrees and order one of every appetizer. the chef came out and talked to us, invited us to the opening of his new restaurant. the staff was nothing but polite. I wish i could eat here everyday.

Best Thai in NYC – I've eaten in some of the best all over Manhattan and Queens and I was shocked how good this place was. Truly authentic.

Average food and service – Positives: nice scenery and location. Negatives: chicken was bland, try the beef instead. Service was just average. With so many options in the city, I wouldn't go out of my way to return here.

Great Food, friendly service, relaxing atmosphere – For some strange reason, this place is always empty. I stumbled upon it accidentally one day while in the area of NYU, and boy was I glad I did.

First of all, the little place is sooo cute. They have the right ambience. Clean, well lit, but not too bright, nice wood accents. They played nice jazz music that helped to mellow me out (even though I don't listen to jazz).

Secondly, the food is GREAT. I'm not versed in Thai or Malaysian food, so I don't know that it's the absolute most authentic, but it tastes marvelous. So far I've tried the Singapore Mei Fun (rice noodles with veggies and shrimp) yummy...the Mango Chicken (slices of mango, green pepper, onion, and chicken served inside a mango)...unbelievable, the shrimp/chicked fried dumplings, mmmm, the coconut fried rice (with string beans, peas, carrots, and shrimp), and the PERFECT complement to all the spice, their Thai Iced tea (gorgeous reddish orange colored sweet tea topped with milk over lots of ice).

Third, the prices are reasonable. My fiance and I had lunch their today with one appetizer, 2 plates, and a side of fried rice (plus iced tea) and the bill was less than $50. SOOOO worth $50.

All in all, the only negative I had about this place is that the cushioned banquette seats are in need of a cleaning. They were stained, but not badly enough to keep me from traveling down to the West Village from the North Bronx JUST for some of this great food!
