I brought my vehicle in because it was overheating, they said it was running normally and I informed them that the temperature they were seeing was not at all normal for this vehicle. They insisted it was o.k. to drive and I made the mistake of trusting them. My engine was destroyed that evening from overheating. Do not trust these people.
GREAT PLACE! – Never had any issues. That is very hard for me to say about any repair shop.
Customer Service & Value for money – The customer service is truely unusual here. They actually care and for a car service place, that is just plain blowing my mind. (KK's service is like taking your car to a large dealer, without the 50% price upcharge!!) I usually look for comparable pricing on the work that I have done on my vehicles and these guys give their customers true value(and the work is really good too!)

I used to feel the way many of these reviewers feel and have been going to Kwik Lube for years. My whole extended family goes here also since we all live close by. No longer...I went in for a routine oil change, their technicians damaged my car to the point where I need a replacement engine and will not take responsibility for any of it. I say beware and hope that nothing wrong happens to your car here, because if it does...It's going to be on you. See you all in court.
Honest mechanic? Yes, they do exist! – I first used Kwik Kar Lube & Tune about 4 months ago when I needed some brake repair. I am a widow and I was extremely nervous about taking my car into a place I knew nothing about. I went online and read the reviews and this helped to relieve my anxiety. I had a very positive experience with them and so when my "check engine" light came on a few months later, I returned to Kwik Kar. This happened about a year prior and Lexus charged me $55 dollars to turn the light off. They didn't do any repairs, just turned off the light. Well, I took it in and was there only about 15 - 20 minutes when Gerry, one of the mechanics, came in to tell me he had some "good news." He said that he had found the problem and that it was just a hose that had come off (something to do with the emission system). The next words that came out of his mouth were just a total shock to me. He said "that will be no charge." Are you kidding me? He could have told me that my "Johnson rod" needed to be replaced and I wouldn't have known the difference, but he told me that it was just a quick fix and that my car was ready to go. Well, I want all of you single women out there to know that there are still a few honest mechanics left in the world. Also, this is the cleanest, most "kid friendly" place I have ever been in.
I can honestly say that this will be my choice for car repair as long as I own a car. This is a place where you can feel confident that you will be treated fairly and with respect.
Awesome Service – I was traveling through Nashville when my radiator blew so my dad told me to take it to Kwik Kar. They weren't going to be able to get it done until the next monday. So I told them my situation: I live 200 miles from Nashville and I had school monday and i couldn't wait. He went back and talked to his mechanic and they decided that they would stay late and finish my truck so I could get home. These guys are great and I would recommend them to anyone.
GREAT, FRIENDLY SERVICE – I have been bringing my truck here for over a year now and continue to be very pleased with the quality of service I receive. Everyone from the General Manager to the guys in the shop are helpful, courteous and know what they are doing. The clean and friendly atmosphere is one of a kind and very appreciated!
Three Homerun visits so far – Attention to the small details... magazines lined up, good, free coffee, smiling faces, no lazy sour attitudes seen here! Navy vet manager willing to go the extra mile...

Finally found my Nashville mechanic! – I took my van here today, and after 10 months of living in Nashville, I have finally found my mechanic. The first thing I noticed about this place is how exceptionally CLEAN the shop is. That scores big with me, because you can tell these guys really care about the work that they do. I took the van there, and for a very reasonable price, they got it nice and tuned up. They told us what needed to be taken care of (and proved it to us, for example when they did the fuel system cleaning afterwards all the junk in the engine was blowing out the tailpipe for a good 8 minutes). The van works beautifully now, and I am a very satisfied customer. You won't get any smoke and mirrors with these guys, because their whole thing is once they have you in as a customer, they want to keep you as a customer, and you don't get that by either doing shoddy work or screwing people over. I'll be back to this place for sure.
Peace of Mind Car Care and EXCEPTIONAL Customer Service! – I'm new to Nashville and one of the worse things about moving to a new state is trying to find a new automobile shop! I've tried other places in the 7 months I have been here but I will not try any others after today!
The employees at Kwik Kar should do presentations in business college courses on how to run a successful, exceptional business. They know how to execute top-notch customer service and they execute it well! From the manager behind the front desk to the technicians behind the glass in the service area nothing but smiles, respect and making you feel like they appreciate you being there.
Then there's their knowlege and honesty. It's so rare to find an automobile shop that takes the time to not only tell you what needs to be done to your car but takes the time to explain why it needs to be done and how it's going to be done. They will let you know what needs immediate attention vs. what can wait until later without a major mechanical or financial melt-down happening in your life! I just dropped in for an oil change (no appointment) and left with my car cleaner (they vacuum it for you) and running better than it has run in a long, long time (it was in dire need of a fuel system flush).
Have you ever seen that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry is trying to find a new mechanic after Elaine and Putty break up? George says: Well, of course they're trying to screw you. What do you think?That's what they do. They can make up anything. Nobody knows. "By the way, you need a new Johnson rod in there." "Oh, a Johnson rod. Yeah, well, you better put one of those on."
The wonderful employees of Kwik Kar will be kwik to tell you..... there's no such thing as a Johnson rod so you don't need one replaced! I LOVE not having to worry about my car!!!!
