A waste of time – This place is absolutely terrible. They have the worse DJ in the city. Drinks were too small and overprice.Small dance floor. Cover was $30 and not even worth it. Never going back.

Very Nice Venue – I've gone to many clubs in my lifetime and there are a certain few that keep me coming back. One of them is Boutique Nightclub. They have a lot of themed events, drink specials, and door deals (i.e no cover b4 11 or midnight and sometimes discounted). The music tends to be in the top 40's but on Saturdays they are bring back B-Side in VIP that plays no mainstream music. They did B-Side once before on Fridays and it got cancelled and I stopped going. (I'm not a mainstream type of person) but now that its back I'd reccomand any HIP HIP lover to come and check it out! Get there early because they tend to charge a lot after 11pm :-(. Crowd tends to be mixed, dance floor crowded, drinks tasty, staff so/so.

Horrible place, long review but please read!!!!!!!!! – Normally, if I go to a club and its wack, I give it another shot just because it could be an off night. Usually I have fun the second time around. Not here!!! The first time I went to this spot was for a friend's B-Day party back in Jan of this year. My friend paid $300 for a VIP area, and $300 for an open bar from 11-2. Me and some other friends got there before the B-day girl, so we decided to have a few drinks. We were told that there was no open bar. So, we just waited until my friend arrived so that she could straighten things out. NO!! She was told that the $300 was applied to a bar tab and that once it ran out, that was it! So instead, they gave her a bottle of Grey Goose vodka and told her that she could just use that for her guests!!! For $300! Then, VIP was a joke! She was supposed to have an area specifically for her invited guests. but other people were coming down in the area just hanging out all night long, with no problem. The DJ was wack as hell, playing all this old corny hip hop from the 90's and early 2000's. All in all a horrible night. A friend of mine came in this weekend to go to the Taste of Chicago. We wanted to go out and have fun, but since I don't have a car, the place needed to be CTA accessible. So I decided to give this place another try. BIG MISTAKE!!! We got there, and people were standing outside in the rain. We asked why, and were told by some other patrons that the bouncers had stopped letting people in 20 minutes prior to us arriving. So all of a sudden, a van pulls up with some females just walk right up and get in. My friend decides to ask the bouncer what was going on. He tells her that they are waiting on Ludacris to come in, and that it would be 30 before he got there. He told her to just go home b/c they probably wouldn't let her in anyway. This place is absolutely horrendous. The bouncers are rude and DJ is wack.If you want a good time, try the bars on Rush! Cover is free, great music and drinks.

LOVE IT! – This is one of the best clubs I have been to in Chicago in a long time! Ive been going there almost every weekend for the past few months, and everytime im there, there is something different to experience...wine tastings, holiday theme parties etc. I found the concepts very unique and interesting! I loved the inside decor - it was very appealing and upscale. There were also some of the best looking people I have seen out in one spot. I heard the dress code was very strict which might not appeal to some, but i guess it works because everyone was dressed sexy/classy/trendy. the crowd was very diverse so anyone of any ethnicity would feel comfortable going there. One thing that did pose a problem was the line outside so I would say to get there early! But if you do happen to get stuck in the line, it is definitely worth the wait!

Decent Club – Been going to Boutique of and on; b4 it changed it's name from the Dragon room. Overall Boutique is a decent club. Check out pros and cons below.

Pros

1. Good music (mostly rap, with some r&b pop)

2. Decent staff (relatively courteous bartenders and bouncers)

3. Two levels (two bars upstairs, one bar downstairs; pool tables downstairs)

4. Mature clientele (Boutique is pretty strict on club attire, keeps riff raff out)

5. Closes at about 4am on Saturdays

Cons

1. On Saturdays (the only time I have gone), very long wait time to get into the club (especially after 12).

2. Getting into VIP is like trying to get into the Queen of Englands personal quarters.

3. Space-even though there are two levels the club is not that large. And the dance floor is about a 20 ft by 12 ft space. Makes dance very difficult.

4. Drink prices are expensive. Although, must clubs in Chicago are like this. You'll pay about $9-$10 for a long island or gin and tonic.

Cool place to hang out – Great people, great music, DEFINITELY great atmosphere. I'm planning my office's holiday party here and I'm pretty confident it will be the best one yet!

Went there a few times in the last month and every time I was pleased. The Tibetan vibe is relaxing (especially paired with a few drinks and IN CLUB MASSAGES!)

This Marc Bortz operation is a multistoried hip-hop club with winning decor and a rotating top-bill DJ roster. – In Short
Seemingly alone on a shabby strip between Halsted and Kingsbury, the former Dragon Room space received the works in redesign. Past the doormen, climb a long outdoor ramp lined with diaphanous curtains before entering the main level where a sunken lounge area buzzes with bottle-served groups. Wood paneling complements flagstone, slate and red Persian carpet. Bars bookend the space. Hip-Hop--from commercial rap to deep cuts from lesser known artists--plays crisply at reasonable levels.
