A lot of fun – My friends and I love going on Thursday night, since we get in for free. It's a very exciting place to be at. A lot of dancing, music and food at a cheap price too.

Pleasantly surprised – We didn't know what to expect when we climbed the stairs to enjoy the lounge while we waited to be seated at the restaurant below. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely return in the future for drinks and bar food to nosh.

Funnnnn bar – This one leaves me wishing for those half stars again. So to be more accurate let's say 41/2. This is a fun bar and a good place to hang out. It's not huge or overwhelming and has an area outside which is cool in the warm weather. They have cold beer on tap which means they've got me sittin on my bar stool for a couple of hours. The food is a couple of notches above bar food. I am a fan of the burger, and.... oh heck I'm a fan of food period!

Good times – I love everything about the Cowboy Lounge from their happy Thursday happy hour to the dance classes, ambiance and atmosphere. My friends and I always have a good time when we head there for the night.

Party Time...Not as country as you think! – I went here last Thursday for my bachelorette party. It was going to be the 1st stop but we got lured in by the fun! It was ladies night to start so drinks were free for the girls and me. I had around 15 girls and the staff was wonderful about making sure we were all together. The music is what makes this place so much fun...its a country bar with a mix of hip hop, rock n roll and country....so it is not as country as you may think for those of you who avoid country spots. I am ready for ladies night this week. Thanks Cowboy....we had a great party!

Good times and great fun – This place is awesome!! It may not be a true Country bar, but its downtown, decent floor, some people know how to dance and are amazing!! Nothing like it any where else! You can take lessons Fri/Sat, but, thurs are great too!! Go around 8 to learn and stay for some fun after 10!!

fun time . . . always – I don't come here a lot, but when I do I always have fun. Get to play cowboy for a night. But it's not all country music, so it's a good mix for those people who aren't totally into that kind of music.

Cowboys like us – The Cowboy Lounge is alright. I have the most fun when a large group of us go, and if it's only once in awhile. I don't like the usual Lodo crowd of popped collars and cocktail dresses, and Cowboy Lounge has that kind of crowd. It's not a country bar, it's a bar that plays some country music. The dance floor is too small too crowded, and no one there knows how to dance unless it's mindless bumping and grinding...Also, I know you guys think you know how to 2 step and swing, but you don't and you look awkward doing it. Being a cowboy and country music fan I would recommend this place if you aren't a cowboy, and if you are a cowboy, see for yourself.

General Manager is Mean – Last night we tried to get into the Tavern and the general manager wouldn't accept a Mexican Consulate ID. I can understand a foreign driver's license but a consulate id issued here in Denver? Ridiculous. We went next door not knowing that the Cowboy Lounge was the same company. The bouncer let us in. We paid the cover and bought a couple of beers. We weren't doing anything when the general manager saw us, took the beer out of my boyfriend's hand and told us to get out. Why did he have to act like that? He embarassed us and was incredibly rude. We were already in the bar and drinking. We weren't causing problems at all!
