No Service – I had recently vistited Twin Peaks for the first time. It's a newer restaurant, and I wanted to try something new. I had walked in, and there was about 10 customers and about seven or eight waitresses. The host never greeted my girlfriend and I, she just asked "Table for Two?." After we were seated, we had been looking thru the sparse menu for about 10 minutes. In that time frame, no one had even provided us w/ a glass of water. So, we decided to leave. As we walked out the door, the hostess was chatting w/ a couple of the waitresses and as we walked by, they paused briefly, and continued to chatter while we had walked out the door. If I could, I would give the "Twin Peaks" zero stars for their extreme lack of customer service.
Buxom waitresses welcome hungry South Austinites to this casual, rustic eatery for burgers, steaks, chicken, sandwiches and other America fare. – In Short
Donning khaki shorts, Ugg boots and midriff-revealing lumberjack shirts, attractive young hostesses give new definition to this restaurant's "Great Northwest" theme. Paying homage to hunters, fishermen and outdoorsmen, the wood-filled venue is equal parts log cabin, roadhouse and sports bar. Working stiffs, game watchers and other gawkers sit astride faux bark-covered barstools enjoying cocktails and beer. Diners feast on large portions of classics like chicken-fried steak, pulled pork and cheese steak sandwiches.
