Excellent Place for Authentic Street Food Fare – The food here is very tasty and noticeably made from fresh ingredients. They consistently serve some of the best food on Devon. The selection of fresh made breads are outstanding.
AVOID Swati – Healing through food? You must be joking. Swati is anything But healthy- There food is soaked in cream and oil and more than half the stuff on their menu is fried, not baked. Not to mention, they have a very sparse selection. I had the bhel puri and masala dosa. The bhel tasted like it was six months old-- It was stale!! The dosa aloo was completely cold and the sambhar was not traditional at all. If you are expecting very low quality food for a decent price, Swati is your place. If you want to try some good quality food, try the Viceroy of India down the street.
Editorial Review – Casual Indian restaurant offers great tasting and good for you fresh vegetarian dishes to hungry Chicago residents.
