LAX Nightclub – Wednesday Night's at LAX redefined Las Vegas Industry Nights. Pure Management Group rescued Wednesday Nights from boredom with world class DJ's and celebrity hosts throwing the hottest parties makeing LAX a place to be and be seen on Wednesday Nights.
Best club In Vegas – This by far the best nightclub in Las Vegas. It has everything you want in a club. Great atmosphere, music & drinks.
A JOKE OF A CLUB DONT WASTE MONEY – A friend and I called in advance to insure we would have a nice VIP table for a special night at LAX. NKOTB were hosting an after party there and we wanted to come. We were coming from Nashville TN so we wanted to get all the ducks in a row before we booked hotels and plane tickets. We were promised by "STEVE" at this club that we would be treated well and have a nice table. He assured us that he would take care of us. Not only did we wait in line forever to get in we were seated at a table in a hallway facing the restrooms. It costed us $600.00 for this table. All night I could see straight into the men's bathroom and see men urinating, it was horrible. We complained to Steve so he sends this goon named "FRANK" to come lie to our faces. He promised us wristbands that would allow us on stage, then he said he would find us another table and none of this ever happened. It was like once they got their $600.00 out of us they didnt care. This is sad because we were willing to spend a substantial amount of cash, and we flew in from across the country just to come to this stinking club... the treatment we received was not only insulting but dishonest and tasteless- please avoid this dreadful joke of a night club.
Don't do it!! – As soon as we walked in we wanted to walk right back out, but after spending an hour or so waiting in the "guest list" line to get in with our free "VIP" passes, which actually turned out to be $20 each, we tried to hang in there and give the place a shot... Boy we were wrong. There is no A/C, drinks are over priced, the "dance floor" is more like a "corridor", the VIP rooms are furnished with mini fans (rememer no AC), there is no place to sit, no smoking section so there is cigarette smoke everywhere, and naturally everyone inside looks like they just ran a marathon. Honestly, I would have rather just stayed in the room..
WORST "CLUB" EVER!!! - AVOID AT ALL COSTS – I have been to Vegas and pretty much every single club there. By far LAX is the worst. We waited in line for over an hour despite being on the guest list, which everyone else is also on. Also the "VIP Entry" cards found throughout the casino have no effect or any kind of discount.
You can only sit down and chat if you have a booth and bottle service, there is no ventilation whatsoever and with 10,000 people smoking it gets very nasty in there. There is no patio and no AC. The $13 shots and $10 beers (before tip) are way to overpriced even for the strip on a weekend. If you are lucky to even get a drink.
Don't be fooled by the hype, the truth is this is the worst club in the world. I will never go to this club again and neither should you. I had to choose a "1-star" rating because no stars was not an option.
Lamest club on the strip! – Wife & I flew in after spending a week in L.A. looking for a decent club. We figured LAX was a sure bet to live up to the hype - boy were we wrong... Website says it opens at 10pm, which means they start letting people line-up at 10pm for a good hour prior to letting anyone inside (to make it look like a big deal for club-nubs). The bouncers are somewhat (expectedly) rude but also humorous in their attempt to "look" big-cityish. I doubt most of them have ever been to a nightclub outside of Vegas (the same doubt applies to the club management, who also portrayed a somewhat amateurish demeanor). We had paid for the balcony VIP seating, which by looking at the crowded dancefloor below, is really a necessity. There was absolutely no room for anybody on the dance floor to move, let alone dance. There is very, very, very little standing room downstairs so people just stand on the dancefloor. Bartenders were a little slow but our drinks orders were accurately made. The music/mixing was just so-so. It seemed as soon as they got people "wanting" to dance (b/c there's no room to physically do it), they'd stop the mojo with a string of poor mixes. Bartenders: GRADE B-, too slow but knew their drinks. Bouncers: GRADE D-, boys trying to do a man's job, zero crowd control skills. Management: GRADE D, touristy Vegas club work does not make an adequate resume reference. Music: GRADE C+ , maybe they stop the good mixes so nobody complains about the lack of dancefloor. Club Layout: GRADE F, maybe one-third of its claimed square-footage is usuable space - pathetic. Overall: GRADE D-, I would not recommend this club at any price, there are a lot better clubs on the strip regardless of the (laughing to myself) so-called "possibility" that an A-list celebrity shows-up. And the one's that (alledgedly) do, I can assure are paid to do so by the Luxor.
Ridiculous!!! – All this hype for this club and me and my friends were HUGELY disappointed. The only way to enjoy this club is to have a reserved table which we were told one price was $10,000. Are you kidding me?!?! It was insanely packed that you couldn't even move, let alone dance. The music was much to be desired. We will definately not come again, and will be telling all our friends who travel a lot to pass on this club.
Thanks to the GM and Bar Mgr!! – This was my first club experience in Vegas and I had a great time. It was my birthday and since we were staying in the Luxor figured it would be a good idea to be within walking distance :-) It was a Thursday so not a super busy night for them but we also went back Saturday and had a good time as well. Thursday was exceptional though so I had to write a review. Being in the business for 15 years I wasn't sure what to expect being my first time in Vegas but the drinks were good, friendly bartender (thur night). The best part was we started talking to the Bar mgr ( sorry it was bday- don't remember his name) and he took us to the back bar where Chris made us some great drinks. It was nice to be treated as a VIP especailly in a great club like LAX. Previous reviews, well those ppl don't sound like they are in the business. There was a back walkway if you didn't want to fight the crowd. Granted the bars could have been a little larger but I don't think we waited more than 3 minutes even when we were there on a Saturday and it was a packed house. I would definately recommend this place to any of my fellow bartenders in the biz!!
Sucked – We went Friday nite & got in free, thank God. Poor layout of club, you have to walk thru the cramped dance floor to get anywhere. It was a complete sausage-fest! Not many good-looking people, guys or girls. The most rude & unfriendly people I've ever met in a club in Vegas.
Such a BIG BIG LETDOWN – a group of friends went there expecting a great time. what we got instead was an overcrowded club with no room for improvements.
first we get there and are given free passes to get in. by the time you get to the entrance, what do you know, the free passes are no longer valid and you have to shell out $20 for guys and $10 for girls. I had 3 girls with me and they still made me pay for the girls. what type of club is that that makes girls pay?? If you ask me the guy at the register was picky about who he charged and who he let in. there was a group of indian guys in front of us and one of them was wearing a turban or whatever its called that they wear on their head. anyway he was told it was $40 to get in and denied his free pass voucher.
ok then you get in. now before it was LAX, the club use to be RA. i went to RA one time and had a great time. when they opened LAX i thought they would expand the joint since i thought RA was a bit small. its built the hot dog way and not the hambuger way in the sense that the dance floor is long rather than wide. they have more place for "VIP'S" than for the regular folk. all these VIPS are lame just sitting there on their couches thinking they're looking cool.
the dancefloor was way overcrowded . it was a pin ball machine trying to dance so we gave up. i mean you can even check out the ladies because its so damn uncomfortable in there that someone is always pushing you off balance.
the bars are too few. the bartenders were cool but it seemed even they know that the bars are not in the right spots at this club.
i guess LAX got carried away in trying to appeal to the celebs and all that. they are trying to compete with TAO and other clubs of high class and it just aint gonna work. i mean this club is at the Luxor and although the Luxor is a beautiful hotel it just doesnt have the same glitz as the venetian or the wynn.
