Mediocre – We ordered the $8.95 luncheon special that includes a margarita, fideo soup and a 2-item combination. We went with a traditional margarita on the rocks and chile relleno/enchilada for our combo. The margarita and soup were good, but Miguel’s interpretation of Tex-Mex was pretty typical (e.g. mediocre) for a casino eatery.

Love the Enchiladas! – I haven't had many dishes from this place but the ones I did have were very good. I especially love their enchiladas! You can't beat the chips, bean deap and guacomole dip they give you for starters.

Love the tacos. – Me and my wife love mexican food so we tried Baja Miguel's. The food is really tasty and you get gucamole with your chips and salsa. How many places do that? Not many. Try the tacos, they are very good. Homemade taco shells and there large and overflowing with the good stuff. Chicken flautas are good also. They have a great lunch special where you get two items and a margarita for $8.99!

We were in Vegas for BMGs at the Venetian and decided to try one of the restaurant at South Point. We love Mexican food so we decided to try Baja Miguel's. I was impressed with the tequila bar outside the restaurant and the restaurant's decor. It was very well decorated and beautiful then things started to go awry. Again we were impressed with the dips, there were 3 dips in these cute containers, unfortunately that's where all the cuteness stop. The warm chips in the basket were hot but it was mostly broken in a little pieces. My husband enjoyed the bean dip with what whole chips he can find. Then came the food, I had order Arroz con Pollo and my husband ordered a combination plate. My Arroz con Pollo looking like no other Arroz con Pollo I have tasted or seen before. It was a piece of grill chicken breast on top of a plate of soupy spanish rice. The rice tasted like it was cooked in canned tomato soup. I tried to doctor it with salsa and sliced jalopeno but to no avail. My husband plate had 3 kinds of meat on his plate and they are ranging from tough and dry to tasteless. There was a little bowl of bubbly cheeses on his plate, it was too hot to eat but by the time it has cool off, it has morphed into a groopy mess. We were very hungry when we walked in so they had us at hungry, as long as it was decent we would have eaten it. As it was, I took couple of bites out of mine and my husband did the best he could with his plate. We paid the tab and left. My plate went back nearly full and nobody said anything nor my ice tea glass was refill. Never again. Beautiful place, too bad the kitchen can't muster up food to match it.

Authentic Mexican Restaurant Experience – If you want to know what the experience is like going to one of the good dining places in one of the nice resort cities in Mexico, but can't afford it, THIS is what it's like. The menu isn't just the "same-old thing, taco's, burrito's, etc." They have many different and new type of items in the appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The servers and the most helpful and friendliest we've ever experienced, and we go out A LOT! The tequila bar just outside the doors is the topper for the finest Mexican dining experience in Las Vegas! All in all, a very deserving 5 stars!

Great service, food and atmosphere. – We are glad it is open again. We eat there often. Good food at a reasonable price. It is a friendly place to eat. We love taking out of town guests here to dine.
