This is THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN
ALL OF SEATTLE!! I know this because I grew up in England and the West Indies and my husband in Sudan. We have to go once a week to visit Mr Singh's INDIA BISTRO to have one of his many delicious & authentic Indian dishes. My favorites are the Lamb Methi Curry and the Chicken Curry...... FYI for all of you CURRY lovers; Mr Singh is so gracious he willingly accommodates all of your crazy curry wishes & preferences. Life in Seattle would be devastating without the INDIA BISTRO on Roosevelt. I love me some Mr Singh =)

Excellent luncheon buffet with quality and value.
We arrived around noon and found the restaurant busy. The servers were attentive and kept water glasses filled. We received very tasty naan and ordered chai tea that arrived with a excellent herbal flavor and a hint of ainse which was wonderful.
The buffet included so many choices that it took three trips to enjoy them all. Salads were cold and warm foods warm and fresh, something missing from many buffets.
The tandoori chicken was tender and extremely flavorful. I've not had better. The paneer was deeply flavored and excellent. Spicy foods were spicy but not overwhelming. My favorite was the mango mousse which was velvety, light and smooth with the right touch of aweetness.. We also enjoyed garlic naan, which had a pleasing garlic flavor but wasn't overpowering.
This is the best Indian food I've had in Seattle. Everything on the buffet was of excellent quality. I didn't feel the buffet was pricey as I've spent as much for fast food and there is no comparison to the quality, taste and healthfulness of this wonderful food..
Even though the restaurant was busy at lunch, there was plenty of free parking in a lot below the restaurant.

Now that's how Indian Food in Seattle should taste!.
I have never seen any other Indian restaurant in Seattle come CLOSE to the level of variety, complexity and genius that India Bistro puts on the table when the condiments arrive. And that is what makes this Indian food restaurant above and beyond any of the rest. Yes it's a little pricey, but SO worth every penny. If you want to try a great Indian Restaurant in Seattle then go to India Bistro. Nice atmosphere and a full bar too!

Best Indian Restauant in Seattle.
Love the food! Great flavor and nice ambiance. This is one of the best Seattle Indian restaurants around. I'd recommend that you call for a reservation first because they are usually crowded.

Classy Indian Restaurant.
India Bistro had nice decor and great food to boot. I went straight to my faithful Tandoor chicken and it did not disappoint. Juicy, tender, flavorful. And great service. Seattle is becoming quite the hub for great Indian food.

Best Indian food in Seattle hands down..
I went here last night with some girlfriends for our ladies night and was happy my friend Sam suggested this place! It did not look like a typical Indian restaurant very classy. I am a vegetarian and they had a very large selection for me which was delicious, and my friends loved their food as well. YUM! I will be back.

Great food. Nice bar selection too..
Had lunch at India Bistro on Roosevelt today. Nice selection on the lunch buffet. Service was attentive but didn't check on me every two minutes like some restaurants. Many different kinds of Naan on the big menu. The bar looked to be very well stocked with all kinds of spirits, beer and wine. That have happy hour starting at 3pm and goes for 3 hours. Check 'em out!

Sophisticated Indian Food.
Perfect for an intimate dinner. The rooms are warmly lit with a nice ambience. Service is prompt and helpful. I read a previous review regarding 2 stars being too hot. I disagree as each person in our group ordered a different heat and all were appropriately seasoned. The Mango Chicken is fabulous and the mango ice cream is superb; others ordered lamb, salmon and tandoori chicken and everyone was pleased. A great dinner for 4 for under $75.00!

Great Indian Food.
The food is great here. My Indian friend brought me because it reminds her the most of her mom's cooking back home. The flavors are complex and well rounded, they don't just make it spicy and leave it at that. There's a depth to each dish that is terrific. My idea of moderately spicy doesn't match with theirs though, two stars was eye watering, though the leftovers were perfectly mellowed. This is definitely my favorite Indian restaurant in Seattle.

Elegant Indian dining in Ravenna..
The Scene
An upscale version of this Indian food favorite's Ballard location, this spot boasts an airy two dining room space with soft lighting and huge windows looking out over Roosevelt Square. The smaller eating area overlooks an open-style kitchen and buffet bar, with the main dining room overlooking a full-service bar. A friendly waitstaff and innovative menu keep the bistro humming with activity--the UW crowd and neighborhood locals alike will feel at home.
The Food
The mixed appetizer offers a sampling of vegetable, chicken, and fish pakoras, as well as samosa and kebab selections. The murgh shorba lentil soup is a healthy starter. Dishes such as chicken vindaloo and vegetable Goa curry boast aromatic, full flavors, with the signature dish, rack of lamb masala, featuring tender medallions of meat marinated in a delicious garlic sauce. Naan choices include spinach- and lamb-stuffed options.
