Food was fair, drinks were unfair. – We started feeling a bit cheesed off by our waiter who was controlling the conversation and driving our decisions on the menu in a hurried and non-friendly manner and the place was not busy on a Friday night. The bread variety bowl and olive and tomatoe tapanades were very good. The Lamb Chops were very tender and cooked perfectly. I really liked the penne with sausage and my friend liked his buffalo pasta. The beverages were awful and ruined the overall experience. A pre-waiter asked one of us if we wanted water with or without gas and we replied just plain water. Our glasses were filled and then an open bottle of smartwater appeared on the table. Later, another open bottle of smartwater appeared and was poured for us. They showed up on the bill at $7 each. So we paid $14 for water. We were fairly suspicious they were not filled with actual smartwater as I've had it and it did not have the soft feeling that water has, and they NEVER opened either bottle in front of us. Amongst the 4 of us we actually ordered 2 glasses of wine and 4 cocktails. The wines were light pours but the cocktails were unbelievably short. All 4 were not what we have come to expect for the over $10 cocktail in vegas. I had a jack with a splash of seven and there was an inch of ice above where the drink ended and it was weaker than a standard mixed drink. My friends makers mark on the rocks was hard to see under the extra 2 inches of ice above the 1.5 onces of alcohol. We won't be returning.

The restaurant first started in Los Angeles ten years ago and has been quite popular ever since. – We are talking gourmet authentic Tuscan-style Italian food conceptualized by restaurateur Agostino Sciandri. Everything was excellent ? food, service and decor. As is often the case, it has a celebrity name behind it lending cache. In this case it is Robert De Niro.

We had a wide range of items which included a signature peach martini which was a great start. Among many interesting items, there was a wild boar pasta, and a very creative goat cheese, beets, and arugula salad. I thought my chicken (although somewhat mundane) was the best item. Allyn had a ?basic? capellini pomodoro, which was a good as she has had anywhere.

We had such a good meal last week at Ago, in the Hard Rock Hotel, that we had to go back again to revisit. We were not disappointed whatsoever.

We tried totally different meals. Allyn went for the Caesar along with Chilean Sea Bass. I also had the Caesar followed by three Lamb porterhouse chops.

Although the salad was excellent, I would describe it as a bit more Italian than traditional Caesar. Taste is just right though. The fish was thick and moist as she likes it. The lamb was outstanding. Again the service was top notch.

Tuscan-style eatery attracts foodies, celebrities and rockers to the Hard Rock. – In Short
Scenesters sip martinis at the bar or in the lounge area, while diners in the intimate 146-seat room dig into Italian dishes such as the egg pasta with hand-cut meat, the wild mushroom risotto and a Mediterranean sea bass filet, grilled in aromatic bread crumbs with vegetables. The room is sleek and elegant and an open kitchen allows a glimpse of the chefs preparing the dishes.
