Could easily be a regular at the Saint!. Relaxing, comforting, great vibe, great drinks, and delicious food.

Second time at The Saint, we reserved a table for my girlfriend's 30th Bday, very accommodating to our party size, and reserved a table for 15 free of charge, we all ate dinner and ordered drinks, so it worked out for both parties in the end.

The staff is super friendly upon arrival through the whole experience, i received replies within the same hour for reservations, very helpful, nice as could be.

I highly recommend this joint, if you're in the mood to mosey about Capitol Hill, dinner party, or just in the mood for dinner out with a friend etc, great happy hour, delicious margaritas, excellent food, reasonable prices, and fantastic tequila selection.

I could easily be a regular here, however, i'm located up North currently : (

South of the Border Food Worth Eating. Seattle has a reputation for crappy Mexican food, but the Saint makes a strong argument to the contrary. Fresh, spicy tacos, AMAZING tequila selection and great service makes this place a must visit. Prices are fair, service is quick and it's a great place for a really fun time!

Definitely not the run of the mill place- a fantastic addition to the Hill!

Tequila to Kill Ya, Mole to Die For. Smart move, Saint: Food prices are better than decent at this cozy Capitol Hill bar/cafe. It's the cocktails that'll set you back. Which makes for a balanced dining experience overall.

Odd-shaped and candle-lit, with portraits of toreadors lining the walls, the Saint is a great date place and works well for small groups. Cocktails are strictly tequila-based--some simple (the Togo is just grapefruit soda, silver tequila, and lime, served in the soda bottle), others more elaborate (involving egg whites, elderflower liquor, etc)--and consistently delicious. The tequila selection here is rivaled only by Barrio a few blocks away; otherwise it's the best in the city. You pay for it--upper-middle to top shelf stuff like Coralejo and Milagro will set you back about $10 for a small snifter.

Food-wise, the menu is limited and everything on it good. Fresh homemade chips and salsa are a must. Ceviche is good but small. Nachos are huge and nacho-y. Entree-wise, the puerco pibil is the most delicious thing on the menu--rich, densely spiced pork served with fresh-made tortillas, rice, and beans. The mole is real-deal, bested only by Carta de Oaxaca in Ballard.

Service here is always friendly but often slow, even when the restaurant isn't crowded.

The Saint's happy hour is great, with a $5 menu (ceviche, tacos, nachos) and cheap cocktails.

Get to know your neighbors... At The Saint. Is it just me, or for some reason it seems The Saint sort of falls off people's radar ... Maybe it's the remnant vibe from being home to Wing Dome in Capitol Hill. But how could you miss the powder blue, triangular oasis off Olive? Drop in for a nosh and drink and you won't pass it by again.

Normally, I'm all about the superb happy hour that lasts daily until 7 pm -- but dinner and drinks before the drag show last night was amazing. Tequilla is the star at The Saint, but the simple dinner menu does not disappoint. Started with the crispy light Yuka fries and a strong house Margarita, then moved to an amazing Al Pastor Taco entree course complete with arroz con frijoles. Small down side -- no basket of free tortilla chips here -- but for the top notch eats, I'm good. Loved how the tacos Al Pastor came with pineapple like how they do in Mexico, seems like not many places in town do it right -- yum! Drink-wise, you cannot go wrong with The Saint's long list of concoctions... try the fresh Chihuahua or fun El Diablo. To satifsy your sweet tooth, Churros Rellenos is a must-try... the chef serves up the simple cinnamon sugary delights drizzled with agave, fresh whipped cream, as well as almonds and dried fruits sprinkled on top.

Arriving before the 10 pm witching hour on the weekends will easily earn you a table... As the cozy, triangular space and tables quickly fill, The Saint really transforms into a communal environment. While waiitng on some tardy friends, my companion and I become besties with a group of really sweet hipsters (they exist!) and our fantastic server, Jennessa. Beatify yourself with multiple stops at The Saint, you'll be glad you did.

le amo el santo. The saint is cozy, cool, and unpretentious. The food, for the most part is delicious. The beans could use more seasoning, and the fish in the ceviche is a bit fishy (although the sopes on which they're served are awesome), but other than that, so yummy. I wish you didn't have to pay for chips and salsa, but I highly approve of the happy hour. I really like this place. A lot.

Awesome staff - great atmosphere/food/drinks. Had been wanting to check out this place for happy hour, which is great btw, and realized the main upstairs booth area would be perfect for the surprise birthday party I was planning for my boyfriend. Had gone in on a Sunday night, which seemed a little quiet in there and thought I'd throw the party on a Sunday as well. The bartender assured me that would be no problem. I called again closer to my timeframe to get it set up and left a voicemail that the owner called me back on a day or two later. Turns out he's an acquaintance of mine from some time ago - but I don't think that would've mattered. He was more than helpful and there was no charge to reserve that space.

When I arrived the friendly female server (didn't get her name) offered to help me set up the balloons I'd brought in and her and the bartender (Aaron) both offered me a drink to get started. People started showing up very quickly, the surprise went off without a hitch and the staff couldn't have been more gracious or accommodating - especially since we had some confusion with who in our party would set up the tab. They were very patient. We were loud and boisterous even as our party died down late into the night and they were still more than courteous.

I love the Diablo from the drink menu and the nachos were pretty awesome. I think we drank them out of a specific kind of tequila.. and they just laughed it off. They were really great people, a lot of people in our party commented on them and how great the space is. Parking around there is difficult, but then what area of Cap Hill isn't. Highly recommended! Thanks you guys!

cozy spot of drinks and appetizers. I wasn't quite sure as to what to expect from a restaurant with a website that was mysterious and not useful. We were a big party of 12 which was late (oops), but the staff was helpful in ensuring that we could all be seated together. When the party expanded to 16 people they just let us squeeze in. Overall, the ambience is cozy but this is merely a place to get appetizers and drinks and not a fullsome meal.

The yucca fries and the guacamole were very good. The pork was good, but I didn't quite care for the braised lamb. I ordered their margarita which was good (but light on the alcohol). The honeysuckle drink was too tart for my taste.

Good place to have a romantic outing for appetizers and drinks at the start of the evening or to relax at the end of the evening.

Great atmosphere, food and drinks. We tried out the Saint on Friday when they had just officially opened. Kudos on how smoothly operations were already running--not too long of a wait for a table. Service was great--the food menu was a bit small, but the food came out hot and was very tasty! Had a house Margarita and it was above average. I could have used more tequila in mine--but the flavor was good. The only other complaint was how close our table was to our neighbors--not a lot of privacy. Next time I'll try and get a seat in the lower section. But, I'm looking forward to going back and trying another margarita with one of their ample choices of Tequila!
