Doug is AMAZING!!!!! – Charming and handsome and knows his wine and menu. He makes every gal or boy who grabs a stool in his bar feel welcomed and taken care of. I may even go as far as to say you may love their wine n food...but you'll come back just to hang with Doug. The entire crew is amazing to be around. Come have a glass or two. You won't regret it, you'll wonder why it took ya so long to walk through them doors. ps. music in there pretty much is better then sittin at home listening to records.

Awesome Vibe! Great Wine! Great Food! Fun! – I went to S. R. on New Year's Eve and had a BLAST! I love the actual bar, it's gorgeous! I love how they don't take reservations and it's so small and intimate. The bartenders are very knowledgeable about wine, all you have to do is tell them what you like and they find the perfect match for you! The food is great too! It's a tiny menu, but I loved the steak (cooked PERFECTLY, melts in your mouth) and the french fries. I had oysters too, which were huge! Thoroughly enjoyed it! I've been back a couple of times since then, check it out! I've even seen some celebrities there!

Chic Los Feliz wine bar next to Cobras & Matadors offers French and California wines with traditional brasserie fare. – In Short
Steve Arroyo's tiny gem-like wine bar--annexed to Hollywood's hipster-driven tapas bar--has nothing to do with small plates. Instead, a casual Parisian vibe dominates the glowing copper bar, where an ever-changing list of French and California wines are offered by the glass. Los Feliz film buffs crowd beneath vintage mirrors and wrought-iron candelabras while talking movies and politics over a low-buzzing rock-and-roll soundtrack. A small chalkboard menu features traditional brasserie fare like hearty steak frites and fresh Kumomoto oysters as well as seasonal specials.
