Great Food & Atmosphere. I can't begin to tell you how great the food was. I love the Pollo ai Pinoli (Pesto Chicken) and I could't help but reach over to grab a few bites of my partner's Vitello al Marsala (Veal in Masala wine). The chef really knows what he's doing back there. Amazing and interesting atmosphere as well! It's the real deal. Go check it out!

I know that theres been some issues with people coming in with coupons from a certain site. The owners of La Piazza were scammed and are working towards getting their names off of the site. So save yourself from getting scammed too and don't purchase any coupons from that site.

PS and for that ignorant person: the chef is indeed Asian and has been cooking Italian food for more than 30 years. He was trained in classic Italian cuisine by Italian chefs. We live in America, so take your racist self out of here.

BAD experience - don't go. There is apparently a reason no one was at this restaurant. I had a gift certificate for it. We walk in and are told they lost their liquor license so no beer or wine is available....ok, seems a little odd for a restaurant to not be on top of their largest margin items. Then we notice the cook is Asian. Not a good sign either of an "italian" restaurant. My husband orders risotto which was not risotto but rather a crappy paella with zero flavor. I got tortellini that was cold in some spots and burning in others. I don't think either was freshly made considering it came out in less than 10 minutes. When we were done eating we presented my certificate which they refused to take. We talked to the owner, also Asian!! He said he couldn't afford to honor our certificate, which is illegal. He posted on the door some sign saying he wouldn't accept them but we didn't see it and it's illegal to not accept a certificate if the place is still in business (which I'm surprised this place is!). We went round and round but finally gave up. Not sure what to do next. He accepted money for the certificate but wouldn't honor it, so we ended up paying for a really crappy meal and coming back home with a certificate...Never again!! Don't waste your time or money.

Hidden gem!. La Piazza is my favorite neighborhood Italian place - it is an absolute hidden gem. The food and service are terrific and I love that it's family run - you can really tell that everyone working there genuinely wants you to have a good dining experience. You can pretty much always get a table right away and the service is the perfect blend of attentive and unobtrusive. Part of me wants to let everyone in on this great secret and part of me wants to keep La Piazza to myself so it doesn't get all ruined by popularity like certain other neighborhood Italian places in Seattle!

Family Friendly and Great Food. I have driven by this place numerous of times and finally we decide to stop by for dinner. Suprisely the food was wonderful and the waitstaff was friendly and helpful. We were also able to find parking in the back of the Restaurant.

We had th Linguine Carbanara and the Seafood Linguinie, the Filet Migon Special and the food was wonderful. Our kids enjoyed it just as much.

We ended our meal with the mousse cake, which as silky smooth and had a coffee. It was a great experience, and we have been there at least once a week. It is a nice neighborhood Restaurant that has a wonderful atmosphere. We actually drive from Renton each week to enjoy the La Piazza!

One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. This is one of those little hole-in-the-wall Italian places that seem to always be empty and make you wonder how they stay in business. It's also one of those hidden gems. Delicious food, friendly waiters, decent prices. I highly recommend the bruschetta appetizer! Get a glass of wine and stay awhile!

Completely Disappointed in the Service and Food!. Unfortunately our "corner Italian" experience was completely distroyed by finding not one, not two, but three hairs in my friend's pasta. This was totally disgusting and I relayed our disappointment to our server immediately. We were questioned about where the hairs were and my friend said, I took them out of my mouth and threw them on the ground. The manager then came over and told us that in the future we should be sure to keep the hairs around so he could see them.

Well - there will be no next time my friend. And I hope that if you are reading this, you will not give these people your money.

Fantastic Restaurant!. This quiet, cozy spot boasts incredibly delicious Italian entrees & outstanding service. The food is always delicious; tender, flavorful meat, appetizing veggies, and out-of-this-world desserts. You can tell that the chef puts extra care into each dish. The soups are hearty and homemade. Even a simple chicken caesar salad is phenomenal! The perfectly grilled chicken is laid on a bed of crisp romaine, covered in a zesty, creamy sauce. I also recommend the balsamic mussels -- to die for! Full, plump mussels in a savory sauce with bits of tomato and bacon...these are the best mussels I have EVER had. An added bonus is half-price wine every Tuesday. The wait staff and owner treat every single person like they are part of the family. You will feel so welcome and at home here. This is definitely my favorite restaurant.
