Once a dilapidated mechanic's garage, Franklin Park has become the beer garden-y pride of Crown Heights, with a small indoor bar to boot.

Beaware Franklin Park Bar Has Bad Staff and they carry guns – Franklin park employees sell drugs on the side and are rude to customers at times i don't know how they are still in business, they got a "C" rating from the city (health dpt,) most bars and restaurants get an "A" very few have a "B" but Franklin park bar has a "C" rating witch can mean that there is rats running loose or who knows what, and they don't even care to change, at $7 a beer and $14 a shot what is this the city the place is dirty and always takes you a while to get a beer the bar tenders just ignore you, most most disturbing is that the bouncers at Franklin park Bar are armed they are armed with guns maybe because they sell drugs i don't know in the past times i was there they randomly kick people out by knocking them down to the floor and shoving them out what happens when the bouncer has a drink and than does not like some one in the crowd and pulls his gun for all of you out there if you had any problems with Franklin park bar please share your stories at the moment Franklin Park Bar is being investigated by the NYPD

Like a Sweet Nook in A cranny!! – So i went there for the first time ever. i think it only opened 6 months ago. A friend of mines was DJing, and so a reason to go. I like it a lot. It has 2 separate areas with 2 separate vibes, one is more sports bar the other more cooled back with room for dancing, and a game area. I can't wait til it gets warm cause the picnic tables in front is a nice touch. Great selection of beers, and interesting specials. a little something for everyone.

A former automotive garage transforms into a breezy beer garden stocked with a dozen microbrews and a cask ale or two. – In Short
A dingy garage is hammered into a 1,300-square-foot outdoor haven strewn with picnic tables, and voila: Leafy beer-garden splendor arrives in unlikely Crown Heights. Relax alfresco at a picnic table, as a waitress delivers one of 12 drafts beers (including crisp Coney Island lager and fruity, amber Schneider Weisse). If it gets chilly, saunter indoors to the oak bar adorned with subway tiles, where you'll belly-up beside an artsy, staunchly local crowd to chit-chat while DJs spin indie, world and hip-hop beats.

Hits: At this off-the-beaten-path outpost, it's easy to kick back beside attitude-free bar-goers and quaff tasty microbrews that are as affordable as they are delicious.

Misses: Though Franklin Park possesses oodles of outdoor goodness, the picnic tables and benches fill quickly on sunny afternoons and warm nights, turning this otherwise tranquil spot into a mob scene.
