Closed in 2008 – Rumor going around town was that the place closed because the owner lost his lease.
Good Food – We always go to Ginger Court for Chinese and it's never posed a problem for us, although when we order take-out it's never really quite as great as when we sit down and eat. You're seated quickly and like-wise food comes quickly and you get a TON of food for a great price.
Amazing – Compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area, the quality and price of the Food make it a must. The variety of the menu allows anyone to enjoy a meal there vegetarian or otherwise
Perhaps it was just a very very bad off-night! – Maybe it has changed ownership. I've been before and thought it was good, perhaps it was just having a very off day. We ordered take out. The orange chicken was congealed, the moo shu pancakes were old and stuck together, the vegetables and beansprouts in the dishes were tired and not crisp. The mushrooms in the beef and mushrooms came straight out of the tin. We had crab rangoons. One of my daughters and I ate them. The two of us were sick with diarrhoea and vomitng for two days. We won't be going back
Popular Acton restaurant satisfies suburban families with large portions of fresh Chinese fare. – In Short
Pleasant servers dutifully patrol Ginger Court's simple surroundings, and casually-dressed area families fill booths to share heaping platters of noodle and rice dishes. The lengthy menu includes standard Chinese-American favorites like sweet and sour chicken, egg drop soup and beef with broccoli. Bargain lunch specials, served daily, provide plenty of value.
Our favorite Chinese restaurant -- period! – We moved to Connecticut 6 years ago and we still drive almost two hours to go to Ginger Court. They have the best won ton soup we have ever had! And we love the crispy, spicy scallops and calamari. We have never had a dish that disappointed us. Wonderful, friendly owners and waitstaff, too. This is the restaurant that we compare all others to.
