One of the best sushi places in LA. Fish so tender it melts in your mouth. They only serve traditional style sushi and they tell you how to eat your sushi.

Serious sushi bar in a WeHo mini mall. They make it very clear that there's no trendy sushi rolls, teriyaki, etc. The bar is omakase only - chefs choice - but they do ask about allergies and dislikes. It's also popular with low key celebs.

Tucked away in a West Hollywood strip mall, this omakasi style sushi restaurant is an industry favorite good for the occasional celebrity siting.

Citysearch Editorial Review – Situated in an inconspicuous spot on the top floor of the same plaza that's home to Sunset Tan (remember that wreck of a reality TV show?), this sushi spot takes pride in being a hidden find. A secret among sushi-loving insiders, the restaurant specializes in omakase dinners and blue crab hand rolls. Seriously, folks. You'll eat what the chef serves you there and then--there is no takeout available. Chefs prep small plates of nigiri, uni and oni behind glass counters filled with fresh fish and other seafood catches, while guests snacking on handcut eel rolls in the low-lit, easygoing atmosphere find that albacore, yellowtail and skip jack are often served on beds of warm rice.

Best Sushi in LA – Best food I've ever had in Los Angeles. Completely authentic. No nonsense. Amazing service- they always remember you when you go back. No spicy tuna rolls or california rolls, but the best fish you've ever had (literally melts in your mouth). Oh and always get the blue crab hand rolls!!!

Editorial Review – Omakase to the max: This hidden strip mall find is where raw-fish foodies go for traditional sushi. (Don't dare ask for tempura or teriyaki.)

Secret Super Special Sushi in Sunset Plaza! – You would never find this place if you did not know it existed, and i am amazed to see there are no reviews on this joint (lots of reviews for business around it). This is on the second floor of a strip mall across from the equinox next to pocito mas. if u know nazawa in the valley, this is the same. only classic sushi and sashimi, stunning freshness, small, expensive. if you go with chef's special, they'll bring out one delicacy after the other, but the bill is killer. we spent $125 on lunch for 2 when we just ordered off the sushi checklist, and another time i had the chef special i think it was maybe $250. anyway, i would still highly recommend it if you are one of those people who appreciate good sushi even when served in a tiny strip mall location.
