“Simply delicious and awesome service.”
“The food was fresh and the portions adequate, but what was missing is taste.”
Can't Reccomend It. I ordered takeout and paid over almost $20 for two appetizers and a can of soda. I had hoped the high cost meant it was going to be a treat, but my food was no better than standard takeout Chinese at twice the price for half the food. Bummer! I had a decent tasting but tiny portion of soup, four small rubbery vegetable dumplings and diet coke. Maybe some of the other dishes are better, but I’d wished I would have stuck with one of my local favorites like Noodles 28.
Chinese mirch is way better. Nothing unique or special here, my friend told me to try this place but i regret it. First of all the food was late, there was a really bad sewer like smell coming from the walls so i couldnt even enjoy the food, it was very bland by the way overall it was just a bad experience. I'm never going back even if it the las indo-chinese place in NYC as for now i'm sticking with Chinese Mirch which is just down the road. and it doesnt smell like a sewer LOL.
Indomunch Great Restaurant in NYC. Great restaurant. Food is good too. Staff is very polite. Great ambiance. I really liked it there. I will visit again and recommend to many others. I love having such a good dining experience.
Chinese Indian Fusion-Confusion Reigns.
O.K., I love any new cuisine. Tell me about a restaurant that features a cooking from a country, that I never heard about and I am there.
According to Indomunch Indian Chinese Cuisine is the adaptation of Chinese seasoning and cooking techniques to Indian tastes. It is widespread in certain localities in India, and is also enjoyed by people in Malaysia, Singapore and North America.
I was hooked!!!
IndoMunch is a very pleasant looking small and clean restaurant at 182 Lexington Avenue, near 32 Street, NY, NY.
The food was fresh and the portions adequate, but what was missing is taste. I expected the Prawn Munch Special, to beshrimp cooked in a Chinese style with curry, to have a curry taste, but I was sadly disappointed. There was no heat and very little curry. The Lamb in String Bean was cooked with a black bean sauce and there were black beans in the dish, but none of saltiness and distinctive flavor of black beans. You could get a side dish of rice (basmati) or hakka noodles, a nice touch.
Chinese and Indian cuisines are known for their great unique tastes, but this restaurant could not make up its mind and got confusion, not fusion. In general, the preparation was not amateurish, the ambiance pretty, the service o.k. but the food had no soul.
The cost for two complete meals, about $70 with an automatic 20% tip.

Great Lunch and Dinner place.
Really liked the food, the service was just great, the people who work there are really nice and attentive.
Food was not oily at all and its not to expensive.
worst ever. I worked for these people and they are very cheap and nasty they pay their workers very very low wage and expect them to do extra work for not a penny extra the lady mumtaz is a very cruel and nasty woman she would steal our tip money and even on deliveries she would take 30% of that and she always had a reason to pay us less, when i worked there she and her husband would even tell me to go and write good reviews for them on this site and othersbecause they didnt have any good eviews even though i was so unhappy there i did it, and another thing I would not recomend anyone to eat there because she and her husband always always double dip and stick their fingers in the food then stick it in their mouth to test the taste then dip their fingers again without washing the SALIVA out of their finger...it was very nasty and people can get sick that way. PLEASE AVOID!!!!!!
Wow Great Taste.
Food is too good . Great ambiance. I really liked it there. I will visit again and recommend to many others.
You have to give this place a try if you like Indian Chinese. Their food is tasty and the fried okra is wow.

Well to begin with Indomunch is an awesome restraunt , a cool intermix of indian and chinese flavor.
the service at indomunch is outrageous, the staff there are fun loving and just make you feel right at home,. as if i were in my own dinning room . The food there is amazing , outof this world good thats the only way describe the taste of there food. the varitey of foods is really outstanding for the size of the place, its a bit small but cozy , they offer lots of seafoods theres also alot of vegetarian foods as well
over all i think everyone should check it out them selves....
its a great place .....
Avoid. In a neighborhood full of Indian food choices this is not the one to choose. Prices are too high for the portion size. You have to pay extra for rice or noodles!!?? Service was not good, it was completely empty at 6pm on a friday, and they still forgot my mango lassi, no one asked us how our meal was going, and everyone looked like they didnt want to be there. We had a few appetizers and the chicken curry entree which was too bland. I suggest definitely try the million other choices in the immediate area.
Awesome Indian/Chinese food.
This food has all the right flavors to make your mouth happy.
Simply delicious and awesome service... great for a quick lunch or quiet dinner
