Great Spa – I was taken aback by this facility - it really is beautiful! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, great customer service by the staff who went out of their way to get me anything I wanted. Fantastic massage and body treatment and the steam was really nice too!

Great local Spa for Hollywood HIlls residents! – This is a wonderful Spa for Outpost dwellers like myself - beautiful facility unlike any other in the Los Angeles area and wonderful unique, different treatments. They have a stylish little boutique area with very cool gifty items too. Highly recommended - all my friends are coming here now!

Wonderful experience! – I played hookie from work for a few hours...so since I live in Hollywood, I decided to try out SpaLuce. The experience was wonderful! The bed to lounge on was like heaven. It was quiet and my services started and ended right on time. My massage with Eva was fabulous! Wow, Eva used techniques I have never experienced! My mani/pedi with Susan was the best ever, as Susan listened to what I wanted, didn't chop off my cuticles, was gentle and treated me like a Queen! I WILL be coming back and found the spa as a welcome respite from busy Hollywood. The only negative was that the front desk staff seemed out of it and vacant. When I made my appointment I spoke to someone named Christina and she knew what she was doing. But when I arrived a pretty young woman named Kelly was sitting cross legged on the stool and appeared to not be interested in the customers waiting for her attention.

Best French Manicure Pedicure – I'm a spa junkie so when I was down in LA for recently, I checked out Spa Luce. I thought it was one of the nicest spas I've been in - the decor is elegantly understated and gorgeous. I especially loved the Moroccan influences like the dome over the front desk and the eucalyptus steam room - and I wanted to leave wearing the spa robe, but they wouldn't let me... I thought the product lines they used were fabulous. I had a Citrus and Fig manicure and pedicure with Susan, who treated me like a goddess. She made me feel completely relaxed - especially after the wonderful paraffin treatment and scrub she did on my hands and feet, followed by the moisturizing fig cream! My nails are weak and thin and Susan gave me great advice on how to care for them, plus she gave me the BEST French manicure and pedicure I've ever had - it lasted for nearly 10 days, which is astonishing considering that I'm not always careful. I'd definitely return, if just to have Susan do my nails again because I left feeling very relaxed with beautiful hands and feet.

unfortunate – I wasn't impressed with Spa Luce. I had a lunch meeting at Hollywood/Highland and decided to make a day of appt with Spa Luce. They had openings and I took advantage of it. There are just better spas in the Hollywood area. I have to admit that the staff wasn't too friendly nor professional. I work for Disney and it's all about guest service and satisfaction. However, I did like the products they had available for purchase but the spa itself was below average. It's a pretty place but it hasn't found itself yet. They may need to retrain or rehire their staff.

Great, fun Spa day! – I had a great bridal shower here with my girls - the staff bent over backwards to get us whatever we wanted and we had an all-round great time! We had massages and mani/pedis - all very seasoned, experienced and talented staff and very polite and courteous. The front desk were lovely and even gave us sample product bags to take home. Cool digital lockers and wonderful steam facilities too. We loved it and will be back!

A full day of relaxation right around the corner! – I live in the Hollywood area so the opening of Spa Luce about a mile from me was really exciting. In June I found some time to go check it out and was really impressed. First of all, you walk in there and it's so quiet and the architecture and setup of everything makes you completely forget that you are in the middle of Hollywood and you would never know that there is all this hustle and bustle going on right outside. My appointment started right on time and Miyu was fantastic. I got a full spa manicure and pedicure complete with a scrub and a massage. The whole thing lasted over 90 minutes which was amazing! The best part was that all the products are all natural so there wasn't that chemical smell to deal with. Afterwards I took advantage of using the pool area and relaxed on a lounge chair for a while before meeting friends for dinner. It was great to spend an entire day feeling like I got away but being only steps from where I live! I will definitely be back!

money spent in the wrong places – I went to Spa Luce in June while I had family staying at the hotel. I thought it would be a fun day to catch up with my brother. I had read some reviews on the web and I also went to their website. Their website doesn't show much so I don't know if I expected more because of this mystery or just thought that a multi-million dollar spa would be better. I would have to agree with the other reviewers on this page that the locker room was a disappointment. The only place my brother and I could catch up was in the steam room. The steam room glass is a beautiful color but the set up is odd. I felt like there was no privacy and when other men get out of the showers, they are looking straight at you. Luckily the spa was not busy. There is only one toilet in the men's locker room and the water they provided on the sink had no ice in it. It was warm. The male attendent was young and in his own world. We had to ask him a few times what time it was because we didn't see clocks. There is no hot tub, cold spa, or sauna. The massage was fine but nothing out of this world. I did feel like they were trying to sell me stuff while I was there and it bothered me. I also thought that their products should be available in the locker room to try out. I hated the fact that they had normal shaving cream there in a can. They need to make a decision who their clients are...there are many people like me who won't think twice about spending a lot of money on a spa day but the price has to meet the experience. Spa Luce is just not worth it. I was disappointed in the service, the staff and lack of other things to do. With that said, the waiting area was chic and had a good vibe to it.

Not the best experience – I hate writing a negative review but unfortunately I didn't have the great experience that some other people had on this page. First let me say that I love love love the Mint body scrub that they encouraged me to buy. It was worth it and I love it! But, I could have saved a few hundred dollars and gone somewhere else. I go to a spa to be relaxed and feel pampered but their staff was so loud in the lobby that I could hear them in the locker room. They even shouted for each other. I was tempted to ask for a manager but didn't want to cause a scene. I think this spa is fine for people staying at the hotel but for others like myself who live in LA, there are better spas. This made Burke Williams look amazing. My service started late and I just sat there in this waiting area with low tables with fruit and teas that looked uninviting. The locker facility was fine but there is no sauna or jacuzzi. I wasn't aware that I had access to the pool at the hotel but when I go to a spa, swimming with hotel guests are the last thing on my mind. The lady helping me out tried to give me her personal number so I could hire her outside of the spa for services. I found it really creepy and was uncomfortable. However, she did tell me about this mint body scrub and I have fallen in love with it. Will I come back to Spa Luce? Yes, but only for the body scrub. I'll relax somewhere else.

disappointing service and staff – I like to visit spas and could not wait to visit spa luce. I went to their website and I had seen some pictures online. It wasn't worth the money. The staff was unprofessional and the service was just ok. The lady doing the facial talked the entire time with her accent and had the worst breath. The massage was fine but I have had better. I was mostly disappointed in the locker room. There is one steam room and the set up is a little crazy. I was the only one there and was afraid that a lady was going to walk in on me at anytime. The steam room wasn't hot. I know they just opened so maybe they are working out their kinks but someone needs to manage their staff more. I thought I was at a college pep rally and they were waiting for me to leave so they could check their myspace. Overall, disappointing and will not be going back.
