Best NY style pizza in Utah! – Being a poor college student, I have to make my money stretch. Este has the best pizza for your money in the whole state. Need a quick lunch? Drop by and grab two (BIG) slices of must-fold-to-eat pizza and a drink for a little over five bucks! The staff are friendly and attentive. Don't expect to be served pineapple on your pizza here, (EWW) because Este's just won't comply. To make it a night, grab a whole pizza and check out their selection of local brews and choices of wines. This place has me addicted :)

Disappointing!! – I've eaten pizza in New York- this does not compare. Delivery time in excess of one hour and I live within one mile of the joint. 16" pizza, cut into 6 pieces (had expected 8), each slice contained 1 piece of pepperoni, skimpy amount of other toppings, exhorbitant cost. NOT WORTH IT!

full of themselves – i'm from n.y. you can skip this place. the pizza is so so - undercooked. they try to do a n.y. attitude but can't pull it off. you've got to be able to engage and do rude w/flair. these folks just have no personality. a lot of hype.

Best Pizza in the Valley! – Este offers the best Pizza in SLC in my opinion, from some of the best Vegan food I have tried (after being Vegan for seven years) to the best east coast style pizza I have had since Little Steve?s in Boston. Other than being sickly fanatically and disturbingly obsessed about the Yankee?s it is a great establishment.

As for the review noting vandalism? I honestly would have to say, something along those lines truly is NOT vandalism. Your vehicle wasn?t damaged? The window was in tact after all correct? Myself being a Sox fan, I wouldn?t be happy about the ?incident? (if you can call it that) but I would truly have to tip my Red Sox cap to whoever may have had the gutts to take an in-expensive decal off of my vehicle whether they were a Yankees fan or an Rockies fan. And you claim it was the owner? if you did not actually see the owner take your sticker off your car, then you do not have the right to say it was him just based off of the fact that he un-fortunately is a Yankees fan. I know the owner of Este and he is a great guy and supports local business?s to the nines! I do not see this in his characteristics or personality at all. With said Go Sox!! And please go to Este, snag a slice with a pint and bring your Red Sox attire!!!

The Owner vandalized my truck b/c I am a Sox fan – I grew up in NYC and for NY style pizza, Este is so-so. I used to eat there b/c it's near my gym, but never again. The owner vandalized my truck because I am a Sox fan (you're thinking: whoa, NYer and a Sox fan? Crazy, I know). Until then, I had been a normal customer who helped the staff clean up by bringing in all of my plates and cups from the outside.

While eating on the patio, I noticed the owner pull up in his bike and stare at my truck (it had a Sox sticker on the rear window). I didn't think much of it until I started to leave, when I noticed the sticker was missing. There was a thick layer of dust surrounding the perimeter of the sticker (it had been a few weeks since my last car wash), but the area of the sticker was pristine. I saw it there on the way to eat at Este, but it had been removed during the meal. No one else had come in or left from that side of the building besides the owner. When asked about it, he wouldn't even look us in the face or talk to us. He went to the kitchen and wouldn't come out.

I know it's just a sticker, but c'mon! That's childish, down right mean, and completely uncalled for.

best pizza in Utah! – After visiting New York a few times, I craved the slices of pizza that I ate late night standing on the street. I was stoked to find Este Pizza! The crust is perfectly thin, it cracks when you fold it! You can order by the pie or by the slice, which is done by choosing from a variety of pies in the display case which the employees heat in an over and deliver to your table. The thing that sets Este apart from others is that they don't try to overdo the sauces and the toppings. A thin crust, with a nice thin sauce and a few toppings make a great slice. There are many vegetarian and vegan options, too. The Italian Flag and Pink pizza are my favorites. The staff is very accommodating. The last time I went with my son I ordered a slice of cheese rather than vegetarian because I didn't want the green peppers that were on the pie. About 15 minutes later one of the workers brought me a slice of vegetarian, without peppers, that he ordered to be made after I had ordered plain cheese. Who else does that? There is a variety of beers on tap, too. The service is great and the food is better! Once you try Este you will be hard pressed to order pizza anywhere else in SLC. I's hard for me to admit that my seven year old is pizza snob, but he would rather not eat pizza if he can't have Este. Give it a try.

top to bottom, a win! – Hands down, the best pizza in salt lake city. Settebello comes in a close second, but maybe i prefer true ny style pizza to napoletana's. It is evident they use Grande cheese, and their sauce is top notch as well, but the highlight must be their crust. I have noticed that when the weather changes dramatically, the dough suffers, but their worst is still the best in the city, and beyond. Since they burned down last year, they have reopened in the same place. I am not sure when that was, but the new space is much more comfortable (read Bigger), the menu has grown, they now serve full strength beer, and WINE!, and the food never missed a beat. Go and check them out again.

Best Pizza in Salt Lake City – We love this pizza. I am especially fond of it because I am allergic to dairy. Estes has vegan cheese. In the past, I have ignored my allergy and just gone for it. But now I can have my Pizza and eat it too. The regular pizza is great as well. Part of what is rough about pizza back east is that the grease from the cheese is dripping off of the pizza. You have to take a napkin to it just to get all of the grease off to eat it. With the pizza at estes, you do't have to blot anything. It is just good pizza. The only thing I would change is, I wish they had wheat crust for those extra healthy moments. Still, worth every bite.

In a state filled with pathetic pizza, this place is good. – I really like this place and it's pizza. Staff have never told me how to eat pizza nor have I been denied anything I have asked for.

All the interactions I have had with owners and staff have been lovely.

I like the extended hours, new space, and new delivery service.

I wish they had fresh basil leaves as a topping choice.

terrible pizza – terrble pizza and service. Only serves slices during lunch. Place was tiny and dirty the counter person was dirty. I tried on slice of my pizza and threw the rest out. The mozzarella was low fat and poor quality. Not sure what they do to make sure what they do t o make the pizza so bland. NYer's, including myself would be embarrassed by this stuff.
