excellent – So I walked in and got the feeling that this place exists first because these people love bikes and second to make a living working on them. Not that I asked, this is just my impression. So it was a bit intimidating since I don't know the first thing about bicycles except that I want to ride them. But it didn't seem to matter, they were really nice, very helpful in telling me what needed to be done and what was optional. The prices are comparable and probably better than any other bike shop in town. And now my bike is awe to the some!
Enjoy a sandwich or a cup of joe at this local hub teeming with cool bicycles and bike culture. – In Short
This Minneapolis bike shop in the Warehouse District serves up nearly everything a cycling enthusiast longs for: yummy sandwiches, strong coffee, a cool spot to hang and chat about a love of pedaling, art openings and the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff around. Owner Gene Oberpriller is a pro-biker and bike fanatic who's always open to helping newcomers and old-school riders with their biking needs and obsessions. Vintage Binachis that line the high ceiling--like transportation trophies to true bike lovers--greet every visitor with smiling handlebars. Nearby, a bicycle graveyard gives new life to broken spokes and twisted frames.
