Forget Ruth and Mortons.....
Took my wife there last sunday night (1-11-09). Great service, great waiter and bartender. Food....5 star all the way. had the crab cakes which tasted great and just the right seasonings...
ordered the rip eye, of course...cook just the way i like it was just enough veges on the side....best part was the waier which was very helpful and around at the right times just when we needed somthing.
this is our new place for a tasty meal in a great place....
o-ya, and the drinks..... :-)
Great place with all the right ingredients.. I had lunch with my friend there yesterday and couldn't have enjoyed it more. I've been a regular at other high-end steakhouses up and down the West Coast, and this one is every bit as good. But amazingly they haven't even effectively opened. I met my friend there, we had a great lunch and I was wowed by the attention to detail, even down to the manager noticing that the busman put the wrong bread basket on our table. (That's why they're opening before their grand opening to make sure all the kinks are worked out). I recommend the Prawns, the Ahi Martini appetizer, and the Lemon Torte, but I know from hearing other comments that there's plenty of great choices. Thank you Crown, I wish you the best success, and from what I've seen you're well on your way!
A Welcome new upscale restaurant & live music in Laguna Niguel!!!. It's about time we have a beautiful upscale (NON-CHAIN) restaurant in Laguna Niguel! The inside is very comfortable and a nice inviting atmopshere. The menu is very comphrensive and complete - prime steaks!! (BUT, save room for their delicious desserts)! They have a nice wine list and make an ice-cold martini - YUM!!! They also have live jazz - parking is easy and convenient - All is all, I am very very happy to have this little jewel in South OC! P.S. - very nice and professional staff (owner was present and keeping a watchful eye to ensure your dining experience is perfect!) Definately a welcome addition to Lagana Niguel -
