Perfect date spot – Once you step in and see the decor, you know you're in for a treat. The service is great and the prices are reasonable. But the ambiance of this place is second to none. This is the most Unique winebar I've ever been to. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's the most visually stunning and best reviewed wine bar in America.
This is the best wine bar in San Francisco! – If you are really looking to taste a fantastic selection of wines in the city, this is the place. Super cool loungie feel while you sip to your heart's delight. Great service, great small bites, awesome wine. Go there.
This urban wine-tasting room brings quality Northern Californian wineries to San Francisco in a stylish wine-bar setting. – There are plenty of wine bars in the city, but never before have oenophiles been able to experience Napa-style wine tastings one short, tie-loosening walk away from work. Eight California wineries--from one of the oldest (Chateau Montelena, subject of the film Bottle Shock) to some of today's most popular (Saintsbury, whose tasting counter seems to always bustle with sport coats and dresses)--each host their own bar within this high-gloss, soft light and dark wood underground wine shrine on the posh Yerba Buena Lane promenade. While each winery has a five-year lease on space at Press Club, their lists of featured bottles changes often, and with a monthly rotating menu of cheese, fruit, and seafood bites along with a comfortable lounge, communal bar, and private dining room, this swanky spot allows you to get wined and unwind like a Wine Country retreat in the beating heart of the city.
Only for wine tasting -- not a place to enjoy a drink – This is great place if you want to spend $10 to "taste" 1 wine -- that's 3 small sips of wine. At least when you go to Napa you get more value. Would have loved to have been able to order a glass of wine but that isn't an option.
Wine Country in the City – Awesome concept! Eight great wineries in a beautiful tasting cellar. Great for locals or tourists alike.
Just wait... Press Club is worth it! – This place will knock your socks off! Its absolutly beautiful and unique! A wine lovers dream. Tired of making trips to Wine Country to discover good wines? Every now and again, its worth the drive for the senery, but those who don't have wheels, or don't want to spend $$ on gas, Press Club is for you! More to come when it becomes open to the public (should be soon). I was fortunate to attend a private event there and got a super sneak peek of what's to come... Im welcoming Press Club to San Francisco with open arms...
