Karen is the best...a caring, excellent Vet. The emergency treatment Was/is outstanding, and Karen is often working the emergency room on weekends running the treatments and staff like a smooth sailing and generous ship. I would drive an hour from Marblehead to see her. The other Vets I saw there
were also excellent. I live on Cape Cod now, so driving there is no longer an option. Thank you Karen for all that you've done to save my animals, and to treat my animal losses, with compassion and empathy. I will always appreciate your great work!!!
I took my cat to Bulger for an emergency euthanization. Even though everyone was very nice, they did not handle the procedure properly and the last few minutes of my poor cat's life was filled with terror.
best vet ever – I adopted a cat (Ike) from a woman who could no longer take care of him because she was going into a nursing home and the neighbor taking care of Ike brought him here for a check up. He was given great care but I could not go to see that vet because I lived too far away. The vet who originally saw him was JULIE HALLER and she has since gone out of her way to help me and Ike. She called me back saying Ike has a thyroid condition and explained I could take IKE to another vet and give her updates. She called ME back a week later to see how he was doing. I call her up months later with more questions about things and she not only is friendly but so helpful even calling me right back on a Saturday. I can not say enough good things about this vet. She really cares about me and my new cat.... and is sooo pleasant. This is INCREDIBLE considering I had to take him to Brookline Animal Hospital where not only is service overpriced but the vet barely looked at my cat.
Most Professional, Helpful, Caring & Understanding Vets – Went to Bulger Animal Hospital (ESSEX County Vet, 247 Chickering Rd North Andover, 01845) during a crisis with a mini-dachshund. She hurt her back and was in need of immediate surgery in order to every have the chance of walking again. These people are saints.
I took my dog to the vet in-town (Salem Animal Hospital Salem, NH - 10 minutes before closing time) and they shunded me away. Saying they wouldn't see my dog without $80 payment and they probably couldn't help her anyway. I almost snapped. Due to the fact that the dog was in serious pain holding her straight straight up, limp legs, and whining uncontrollably. These people at the Salem Animal Hospital should have they're license revoked.
Thank goodness for Bulger. They're the best. They are a bit expensive, but in retrospect I'm so glad I chose them and would do so again. I highly recommend these people for all pet emergencies, including serious injuries which they handled in every way that exceeded my expectations. They're great!
