we love the tides. we go to the beach alot in the summer and we look forward to going there for lunch and for a nice cold bud light on a hot summer day play a little keno! oh and did i mention the awesome waitresses! they call us their bud light customers! we even have a tides reward card those points add up! can't wait for the summer!!
Awesome food and great staff! They have a great, diverse menu. Something for everyone! The bartenders pour a great drink and prices are reasonable. The chefs will cater to anyone's dietary needs...just ask my picky mother-in-law. Call ahead on a hot summer night though, the place gets PACKED and outdoor, ocean view seating is at a premium!
I am never ever disappointed when I go to tides. I love the different variety of food and their specialty drinks also great prices, great atmosphere, and beautiful scenery what more could you ask for.
I LOVE this restaurant. I always get a good meal. I have brought many friends here too and they all have good things to say. I recently brought friends from Canada who wanted good fish at a great price. All 18 left the restaurant extremely satisfied with both food and service!
My favorite restaurant is the Tides, the chicken parmigiana is the best meal yummmm
Great Beach Food – Tides gets some bad reviews, but these "foodies" just don't get it. This place is ideal for a mid-day lunch after laying in the sand. Order the stuffed clams and crab cakes, and just enjoy. They are out of this world!
Food is terrible and cranky servers – The tides obviously gets its reputation from the view that it offers. I've been to the tides on three occasions and each time the food was just inedible. I mean, how do you screw up a baked potato. It was yellow and looked like it had been baked all day and brought out for my special occasion. The haddock was overly breaded and the bun was gianormous. The tartar sauce had a terrible flavor (not sure what the heck was mixed in with those half pickle pieces). The waitress was absentee and abrasive with other customers nearby who were not happy with their meals. It took longer to get the check than it did to choke down what we could of the meal. Oh and the lobster roll - don't get me wrong, there was a generous portion of red meat on the roll (which was unfortunately soggy) but it certainly didnt taste like lobster. It looked like the meat that comes from mini crab legs and was very dry and chewy.
