Excellent – I visited Frank's Custom Tailors after reading the reviews and have been back several times since. Good quality, well-made suits below competitor pricing. Very personable service. Bill and Frank genuinely want to ensure that their customers are satisfied, and it shows. Worth the drive from the Cape every time.
wonderful job! – Great work, very attentive and helpful. I recently brought in a suit for tailoring and purchased a new suit and coat from the store. I was very impressed with the help that Billy and Frank gave me, that they discussed options with respect to the tailoring, listening to my preferences and planning accordingly. Overall, they did excellent work, I will be sure to visit again.
Truely the Best in Boston – Great little Men's shop. Referred here by a couple of co workers last month. I needed to retailor a few suits as I lost a good amount of weight this last few months. Couldn't be happier as Frank retailored 3 of my suits. I lost about 25 lbs, and they fit like new. Very reasonable prices. I also purchased 2 great suits from his establishment as well. I have worn the new suits a couple of times and have got countless compliments. Two super 150 wool Italian made suits for less than $320.00 each and he also incuded all the alterations in the price. Will be back in spring for summer suits. Great selection of suits and sportcoats.
Old-Time Downtown Boston Business District Tailor – I've been happy with Frank's Custom Tailoring for all the time I've known of him. I worked across the street in a staffing agency but never visited until, on the urging of colleagues, I went (actually, it was for a job interview elsewhere).
I was thrilled with the quality of the service Frank and his son provided me - and the prices were very good, also. It's not cheap, but it's very, very, very reasonable.
I plan to return for 1-2 summery sport jackets and some more slacks for my hard-to-fit figure.
Excellent Men's Suits – Great place for those looking to add any suits or sportcoats to their wardrobe. New to Boston area, I came here after reading some reviews about Franks last month, and I was very impressed when I came in last week. I was able to get a couple of new suits and a blazer and slacks for a great price. (Under $780) and that included all the alterations in the price. Great selection of suits and sportcoats. If you need any new clothing I recommend that check them out. They also do alterations on any other suits you may have as well.
Great store and tailor – I needed a couple of new suits for this fall, and came here after reading many wonderful reviews. Bill, who is Frank's son, put me into 2 terrific new all season wool suits and a blazer last month. They fit incredibly well and I have recieved many compliments when I wear them. I definetely recommend this place if you need a new suit or sportcoat. I also saw some great cashmere overcoats there as well that he was just getting in. I will be back for one of those soon. His prices are very reasonable and they include all the alterations at no charge. His suits start in the low $200's
Very Accomodating Store! – I have been living in Boston for over 2 years. Being a college student, I start off wearing my misfitted "daddy's suit". When it was time to buy a suit of my own, I was looking for a tailor in the area. I stumbled upon all the great reviews of Frank's and decided to try it.
Great craftsmanship and even better selection of suits!! He tailored the Baroni suit I bought for a European fit, held it in his inventory for 5 months(I forgot), and gave me a friendly phone call to remind me to pick it up.
I was able to negotiate 2 times as I paid cash. His recommendation was also very personal to my body type and age and not salesman-like. I never knew I was a 38S!! Though the brand is not very common, it is "legit" Italian hand craftsmanship. I never felt such smooth wool material on a suit! The lapel also rolls over instead of having a hard-crease, a sign of fine suit-making.
When it comes to suits, a college kid like me was impressed by the old-school philosophy of Frank's. It is the right place to shop for decent suits and not be taken away by H&M and Calvin Klein's advertising campaigns.
Another satisfied ccustomer – Visited this place 2 weeks ago and got 3 new suits and a couple of new dress slacks. Great selection. After picking them up , I couldn't believe at how well they fit.
My coworker has been shopping here for over 6 years and swears by them. Now I know why. Beats the big departments stores. Customer service can't be beat nor their prices.
Great Tailors – I needed a couple of new suits for work as I had put on a bunch of weight over the last year. I am glad I visited Franks store. he did an amazing job helping me pick out a couple of new suits. He even tailored them at no charge, which is stores policy on any item he sells. I bought an Italian suit an an american one for about $525 for the both.
He even was able to salvage a couple of my older suits as well and let them out to fot me again. No high pressure sales tactics, which is rare today. Great prices and service.
excellent store!!!! – I have to rave about this small establishment. After reading past reviews, i came into this place last week needing to get a couple of new suits. I wear suits atleast 3 times a week for work, and my older ones were getting pretty old. I am glad to say that all the previous reviews were dead on. The selection of suits was better than I expected. Frank had over 40 different selections in my size range, and i was able to get two well made wool suits for less than $500., and that also included all the tailoring. I bought my last couple of suits about 18 months ago at another store, and then had to pay over $85 each for just the tailoring. I can't believe that there are stores like this still around. The customer service here is tremendous. After my suits were tailored, I changed my mind on putting cuffs as opposed to plain bottoms on the slacks, and Frank even retailored them for me at no charge. Can't beat that!!! I will be back in the future for sure. i am bringing in my brother for a suit next week as well.
