I am very reluctant when it comes to ordering Thai food but I was very busy and hungry a couple of days ago when I noticed their flyer at my door and decided to give them a try. I am glad I did! I ordered the cashew nut chicken dinner special and it was just delicious and affordable. It includes 2 small egg rolls, rice and salad, the peanut dressing was fantastic. I cannot wait to order again.
OH WOW. DON'T EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!
I love my Neighborhood, so I try to be nice to them.
However, I don't even want to give ONE STAR to them.
just received my food and I'm writing this review.
my wife and I ordered red curry and pad thai with shrimp.
When we checked our food at home, it was red curry and fried rice(cheap)
So I walked to Siam Chan again(5minutes away), and told them gently "we ordered ped thai, but it was fried rice."
I was very disappointed after their attitude. I tried to be nice, but they never said "SORRY" when they took my fried rice back. They checked my receipt, and AGAIN never said "SORRY." So, I was sitting one of empty chair, and waited.
it was upsetting again. One of waitress placed the FOOD on my table, and left without any apologizing. I was so mad at that time, so I asked to her "excuse me who's the manager here?, MAY i talked to manager?"
Every customer was looking at me and the waitress, and she said "manager is not here"....... I just left.
......Paying $17(not much), but I threw away all my food(curry+ped thai) when I got home from Siam Chan.
It was all your mistake, but you guys never said simple words "SORRY"
Definitely never going back.
The Little Thai Restaurant That Could – I have been fortunate enough to live mere blocks away from this hidden gem for years, now, and I must say, it still has the best Pad Thai in the whole city. All of the dishes I've ordered are extremely flavorful and the best part is, the food is very affordable. A party of four can leave stuffed to the gills for under $30 which is amazing given the quality and taste of the food. I highly recommend this quiet little spot in L.A. to anyone who considers themselves a Thai Food junkie. Even if you have to make a long drive to get there...I promise, it's worth it!!!
Money's worth – Small, family run restaurant. I usually order the same things all the time so I can't really say that everything on the menu is great. But you do get your money's worth. Unfortunately, their Pahd Thai is horrible. Food is brought to table hot and fresh. Not a good place for kids or groups since it is pretty small.
Spicy Fried Rice – Tried the spicy rice and was extremely impressed. The menu selection is pretty extensive (ranges from pad thai to specialties dishes). It's a hole in the wall with good service and authentic thai food. A good place to grab dinner before or after catching an indie or foreign film across the street.
Best Bangkok Thai – A small family run restaurant. Very authentic Bankok Thai both in taste and presentation. If you live in westside they will deliver.
