Worst Customer Service Ever – I wish I cld give them negative stars. Me & my friends place an order on Friday around 12:30pm & it took Kenny 45 mins to get it correct. Needless to say it was near 2:30 pm & we hadnt received our order. We called back & 1st they lied & said they were just making it & then said it was already out for delivery. Finally the truth was revealed that he never gave them our order to be prepared but he charged our cards. We demanded a refund & was stated that it was done, well now 5 days later, the money has yet to be put back in our account. Spoke to Reggie & he promised to bring us the money but never did. Spoke to Larry the next day~all managers by the way & he was so nasty cant even repeat our exchange. This place seems to coincide with the sterotype that black business have the worst customer service, I wouldnt take a stray dog to this place. Me & the cops are on the way as we speak....to be continued....

Delicious wings with a smile. – When you first walk in to Fat Philly's, the first thing you hear is a warm welcome from the owner. He is a very friendly man who made conversation with my whole family, and even pleasing my unpleasable grandmother. They will accept special orders, such as doing half or an order of one thing, and the other half another way all at no aditional cost of difficulties that you might have at other restaurants.

They have two specialties at Fat Philly's: Wings and thick and greasy Philly Cheese Steaks. Both are delicious and unique to Fat Philly's, you can't find a cheese steak like theirs easily. The wings have many flavors, my favorite being hot/ spicy and the terriaki, but they have about 5 different sauce choices to choose from.

Another great thing about Fat Philly's is that its right across the street from the Georgia Aquarium, and the Coca-cola factory. Tourist like myself can dine over there and save money than eat the expensive and iffy tasting food in the aquarium, or from the vendors outside. If I'd take my mother there, then I'd definitively tell anyone to come and try out what is probably the best cheesesteaks and wings in NW Atlanta.

Where's the beef? – Fat Philly's isn't too far from my house, and I'm always up for a greasy cheesesteak, so I cruised down MLK to see what's up. First, the place is actually quite nice. Especially for a wings/sandwich joint. There's a bunch of hightop tables with stools that have comfy padded backs on them -- perfect for bad-for-you cheesesteak consumption. The service was a bit surly, but they got the sandwich and wings out fairly quickly. The wings have a bunch of sauce possibilities, but the two I tried to order were out (?) so I went with hot-hot. They sort of tasted like manufactured Chinese restaurant wings, OK at best. The Philly though, was pretty damn good. It was served on a real-deal amoroso roll, and you could get it with cheese wiz. My only issue was the amount of meat they put in the sandwich. It wasn't exactly busting at the seams.

Not as good as Roy's in my book, but better than Woody's. Definitely a good option for Downtowners.

Great Philly from this normal-looking spot off MLK. – In Short
The buffalo wing and Philly cheesesteak combination is almost a cliché around A-town. Still, when they're done right, the meaty dream team has a spot in our bellies. There are a few places near the AUC that claim to know a thing about wings, but Fat Philly's claims victory in two areas: sauces and seating. Historically, most wing joints are of the walk-thru variety; here, there are comfy booths, mounted flat-screen televisions and a counter area where you can supervise cooks as they introduce your wings to lemon pepper, teriyaki, citrus mango or six other sauces. If you've got a taste for the big-city sammie, the cheesesteaks also hold their own. Stuffed into an authentic Philly amoroso roll, the meat and onions are chopped so fine they all seem to blend together among the cheese. And yes, you can get it wiz wit.

This southside spot ups the ammo for wing joints, with glossy flatscreens and solid sauce variety. – In Short

If you've got a taste for something else, the cheesesteaks are stuffed-solid and the po' boys are a thing of beauty. Look for a potential lounge to open upstairs in the next year.
