Great people, great times! – I don't know what the hell everyone's problem is. I love this place.
I have been going here for a couple of years and have gotten to know some of the people who work there and they are all really nice guys and girls.
The bartenders are quick and efficient and really know how to get things movin'. I was there last night and in walks a freakin flash mob and the two bartenders (Derek and name unknown) handled it with ease.
The thing I love about this place is that I can come here shoot the shart with the staff. During the week it's not too busy but it's nice to get away from hectic crowds at other places. Also I can order food and eat it at the bar! Word? Also, they have a comedy club downstairs and live music sometimes.
I'll admit some of the people who come into Trinity suck. You are going to find that at every bar so I don't get why people are so furious with the crowds at certain bars. I'm sure they hand pick their crowd right? Wrong! Get over it people...looooooossahhhhs!
Turn Down Your Nose, Bar Snobs – Hello dear Bostonians, my name is Allie. And according to the all-knowing location-based App Foursquare, I am the MAYOR of Trinity.
As acting Mayor, I encourage you to take Trinity for what it is worth-- a dive bar. A place that you can go into in flips and a t-shirt, with fourteen dollars to your name, and still have quite a few beers and probably a great conversation with friends or staff alike.
I will admit I am biased-- I am a "regular" by proxy and thus have gotten to know this bar in a way that no Saturday night passerby would.
There's not always a line outside. There's not always three floors of sh*tfaced college kids trying to find something to grind on for the night. There's not always pulsating music and shouting patrons. Of course, sometimes there are; on a Saturday night in the summer you can surely find all of the above. And sometimes, that might just be what you're looking for.
But sometimes, you'll find an almost-empty bar and two inviting dart boards. Sometimes, (by which I mean every other Wednesday), you'll find a handsome dude (whom I may or may not live with) playing acoustic guitar and people singing along. Sometimes you'll find my favorite bartender Derek behind the bar. Sometimes you'll find soap in the bathroom. Sometimes you won't.
All things aside, I encourage all you snobs who are so "beyond" the Faneuil Hall scene to turn down your nose and get over yourself sometimes. Stilettos are overrated. So is Umbria. Give a dive a chance.
Another Drunken Irish fight club – What a drunk place this is. I saw two fights last night and a drunk keep hitting on me with my date sitting beside me. This place is not for the civilized. It's over on the dark side of the market and drunk college kids was the rule of the night.
Great depending on who's the DJ – Last Saturday was the second time I went and I had a great time. The first time I went, the music was lame, but it was a good crowd. The second time around was a different DJ and played good music all night. The line gets long, but moves quickly. Cover charge was only $5 and I think the drinks were fairly priced. Super small dance floor, but great bar/party scene overall. The place really depends on who is the DJ that night. I'll def go back.
College kid crappy hangout – This place was terrible! The so called bouncers were rude and pushed people about the place. The guys or should I say young highschool boys were annoying. Just the area is disgusting and the place itself was not a good time...prob stayed for like 1hr.
Love this place – A couple of my friends will try and resist it, but we ALWAYS end up at Trinity. There's never a long wait - the cover isnt that bad (usually $5). And it's always a good time with three floors to either chill on or dance. I think the reason I like this place is becuase I know I won't have to wait and I know I won't be TOOOO crowded. Occasionally the place can get packed but it's usually the perfect amount of people to have a good time. A lot of my friends don't like it because they think it's a "dive" bar but screw that if you have a good time who cares???
The bartender is so handsome – This bar is really hip and with IT. If your looking for a good old fashioned wooden bar where you wont get yelled at if you spill or slob around a little then this is the place for you. Its always crowded in there especially on the nights that this super handsome bartender is working. He has the best sideburns in all of fanuel hall, and on top of that wears really tight pants to show of his greek god like legs.
hottest in Faneuil – Trinity is one of my favorite places to go after a long day of rubbing feet. They have the most handsome young bartender in there. All the women there seem to love him, they call him Magnum or money child. The service is tremendous and being a doctor i have seem many of my clients enjoying the martinis. I highly reccommend this club as the drinks are cheap and the bartender is smoking hott.
ps--Andy loves candy and they have candy on the bar instead of pretzels.
The Hottest Bartender – The place is pretty standard- darts, goldentee, flat-screens, but what sets it apart is the young bartender they feature. The guy is just so damn HOT!!! They way he flips those pint glasses before every draft he pours really entertains the bar...this kid knows what he's doing, and he knows how hot he is right now. My friends and I keep going back for one reason, and one reason only...the hottest bartender!
Average at best.......the young bartender has a pompus attitude like he is the nightlife director of the city. Thinks he's real cool and only makes drinks for those he deems worthey. All he really knows how to serve are drafts so don't bother asking for a legit drink. Its cheap so thats good but if you just want to dance, like myself, there just isn't enough room to really break it down. The ladies are Ok but I have high standards...Like I said Average at best with a lousy young bartender.
