Everything cold the way you want it -- even soy! – It is so rare to be able to get the flavor you want -- here you can get almost any flavor you can imagine! I fell in love with green tea and pistachio, but you can get innumerable base flavors, and all sorts of things to mix in with a base of cream, milk, skim milk, yogurt, sorbet, even soy for the lactose intolerant. And...it's yummy.

Cute iCream Joint – So I've been to iCream twice, strangely in the winter too! The concept is interesting but more importantly, the owner is so sweet. She was very open about how things work and how the business runs. The products are fabulous there as well. Everything seems very fresh and fruity with many options because it is sort if a "create your own" concept (and I've only had sorbet there). For friendly service and a delish treat this is the place to go in Wicker Park (even in the deep cold of winter!)

Gleaming mixers--churning made-to-order ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet--are the focal point of this savvy, avant-garde parlor decked in white and blue hues. Countless are the choices, built from a foundation of organic, light, soy, regular dairy bases, and Naked fruit juices. Next, sweeteners like honey and liquid sugarcane are added. Extracts and infusions such as chai, root beer and burnt sugar, as well as fresh fruity toppings, up the flavor factor. The staff then employs liquid nitrogen to turn each concept into reality. Those looking to take the chill out can design their own steamed puddings, stemming from the same ingredients. The lineup of coffee concoctions makes great companions.
